I have never been to an apple orchard in Tennessee but I’ve been in other states. Their selection was awesome and the prices were just right. I especially enjoyed the baked goods which were heavenly. My favorites are the fried apple pie and the apple fritters. You must definitely check this place out and they have awesome southern hospitality

I hope the apple pies and apples are better than the customer service today. The lady at check out acted as though we were a bother. We drove 25 miles out of our way to go there. Never again! Merciers and Panorama orchards are MUCH friendlier. We will drive the extra miles next time where customer service is important.

Best fried apple pies in area — including SE Tennessee and the apple hotbed of North Georgia which has Mercier and Panorama Orchards.
Apple Valley is much smaller than Mercier or Panorama, but it offers a lot for its size. Especially the pies, which are awesome. The owner of Apple Valley talked to us and I mentioned Mercier. He said his dad, who founded Apple Valley, was friends with Bill Mercier, founder of Mercier Orchards. Said they talked frequently about the business. He said Mercier has great apple pies. «But,» he said with a wink, «ours are better.» They really are.
