What a great experience this could’ve been… I was excited about this brunch, especially since the ingredients are fresh and the menu had several yummy options. However, I was very disappointed that there were few options and it was poorly organized. I’ll start with the positives. It’s in a house in Cleveland Heights so I like how you can mingle and be more comfortable than at a restaurant. Staff are friendly. They had a pianist as well. Negatives: Some of the food was cold upon arrival. If you’re going to market something 11−4pm, then there needs to be fresh food that entire time. Only two drink options. Only one other item was made for me when I indicated I was vegetarian and they said they were done with the cucumbers when I asked them to modify a recipe. The frittatta was a little runny and the bread they provided for the jams was Nickels, which I can get from Marcs for 2 dollars. So… the food just wasn’t up to the standards they were advertising in my opinion. Again, I love the concept and it seems other people enjoyed themselves. But I feel like I was penalized for showing up «late» and did not get what I paid for. I’d wait for further reviews before checking out this place.

Cool local spot. Happy to know there’s a local place i can walk to and pickup provisions for tonight’s dinner. I picked up some produce and jams my friend recommended. Oh man! Abby’s jams n preserves are AMAZING!!!

I was excited to go here for brunch after hearing about it through the Cleveland Scene. It’s at a home in Cleveland Heights, with a good ambiance. There was also a pianist, which was pretty cool. There weren’t any dining tables, just normal house furniture(couches, chairs, a dining table the food was served on). All cool with me. However, the brunch is not what it makes itself out to be. The eventbrite listed it as a «lazy» brunch, open from 11am-4pm. We showed up at 12:30. When we arrived, there was a frittata(that had gone cold), some bacon, potato hash(again cold), and some crackers with cheese and cucumbers on them. There were several jams but no toast or anything to put them on. The only drinks were cucumber water and an «adult beverage» — no other info provided. Seriously no coffee? Ok. We were told there would be another round of food out soon and a few minutes later they put out a Swiss chard, strawberry, kohlrabi salad. There were about 20 people there, and it was a take what you can until it runs out type of deal. Eventually they made some more bacon. We kept waiting for the food described on the website/eventbrite menu(French toast, scrambled eggs, French toast baguette, Cleveland bagel crostini, garden breakfast toast, yogurt and fruit, fig cocoa fromage bite) — so we finally asked, not wanting to be impolite in someone’s home, and were told they were done cooking — at 1:45pm. All I can say is it certainly wasn’t as advertised and no other info was given upon arrival. I’ve cooked brunch myself for a fraction of the number of people and had much more food, of better quality, and I wasn’t charging! Buyer beware. See pic for the«menu» that you won’t be served.
