Winn-Dixie

Winn Dixie is a chain store with poor quality. I don’t know how they stay in business. The one in Clermont it bad. It is just dirty and the staff doesn’t really care. THe manager man I think his name was Gary? was a total butt about replacing several smashed items that his bag person broke. I won’t go back.

Oh, my word… not impressed one bit. All I wanted was to buy carrotts for the horse and a few odds and ends
First price… this market is meant for the rich and famous. If Paris Hilton had to buy groceries, this was her place.
Second… customer service is campariable to the IRS! I don’t normally go here and I got my carrotts, apples and pasta… Carrotts were 2.99, Pasta was 4 for $ 3… the apples said 4 for $ 1.25… it rang up as $ 1.25 a pound. I decided agaist the apples that came to $ 8 and then the clerk from hell came… horns, tale, hooves and angry red faced and all… she was rude, pushy and lacked any sort of customer service skills I have ever seen. Give me the IRS any day over this clerk.
Now that I have met Satan the check out clerk, I won’t go back there…
I was in an out so I didn’t take notice of the cleaniness like Mike did.
Parking was ample, probably due to no one goes there because of Satan Clerk.

One thing Winn-​Dixie has got going for itself as a chain of supermarkets is they seem to be consistent at every location, and this store is no exception to the rule… It is dirty enough to notice but clean enough to not kick and scream. There’s low quality products at a higher price than other local chains. It’s kinda dark and gloomy inside and the employees never seem happy or even make much eye contact (I think they’re beaten).
But, after all they are the closest grocery to my house and they tend to have Ben & Jerry’s ice cream on sale often. And for that I am grateful, but in my opinion the whole chain definitely could use some improvement because there’s another popular chain everywhere in Florida that is quite the opposite of this place (I’ll review them later, everyone knows they rock).
