Hardly the level of journalism that a city of 30,000+ in a Metro area of 4 – 5 other cities would expect. Somewhere between the Lake section of the Orlando Sentinel and the«News Leader» the other Clermont«newspaper» which is just an native advertising circular. Granted Clermont isn’t yet a thriving metropolis however the changes that have taken place in the last 10 – 20 years and no beat writers? local political columnists?

This newspaper’s management has repeatedly refused to stop delivering their unwanted newspapers to my door. They are totally non-responsive to courteous requests to halt the deliveries and are uncaring about the community and the older individuals in the community who may not be able to remove their newspapers from their property. The newspapers pile up and create the impression that the property is unoccupied or rarely occupied and creates a danger to owners of properties that do not remove the newspapers promptly when delivered. Prospective thieves are known to look for houses where newspapers pile up and are not removed. Full-time residents and snow bird residents need to be on guard against this unwarranted intrusion against their safety. I would not read this newspaper even if you held my eyes open with bamboo sticks as a result of this behavior and I will not patronize advertisers that support this newspaper in its’ uncaring and callous attitude towards the community’s inhabitants.
