i found steamex by googling around for a carpet cleaning service… gave them a 10×8′ rug. received it 2 days later, still wet as I found it sitting out in the son on the black top drive way. thing reeks terribly, i question if they even cleaned it. i’d go some where else even if it means drive 15 minutes further

Using this service was a nightmare! Our ordeal began in March 2013 when our area rug was picked up for cleaning. At this time, owner told us that not only could he clean the rug, he could repair the water damage to the hardwood floor underneath. We agreed we would redo the floors sometime this summer and until then he would hold the rug. We live five hours away so we make certain to call and confirm any appointments before we make that drive. This was the case when we made contact again in June. Again the owner agreed to come by and give us an estimate on a Saturday morning. After calling several times and not getting a call back, I was about to write him off when he showed up! This was hours after he had agreed to meet us. He gave us an estimate and we set a date to come back and get the work done. The date agreed upon was July 15th. On Friday, July 12th, I called and confirmed our appointment. The owner(Kevin) said we were on but it would be a big help to him if we could get there by Saturday morning so he could get an early start and would even work on Sunday. We rearranged our schedules and made the drive, arriving very late Friday evening. On Friday morning we get a call from Kevin saying that due to the rain the previous evening, he would not be able to get to us until later that day. Okay… A couple of hours later, another call to let us know he would not be able to get to us at all on Saturday but maybe Sunday. On second thought, more rain is expected tonight so probably not Sunday either! Okay, how about Monday? Probably not as he is really busy-could we wait until September? Did I mention the condo is about a block from the Clemson football stadium? Did I mention that we practically live there during football season? We decided to wait until a better(?!) time and asked if he would just bring our rug by so we could at least cover the floors. Kevin replies that the rug is in his warehouse and it would be inconvenient to bring it by. WHAT! When I replied that he had had the rug at least three months, he said he would call us back after lunch and let us know when he could bring it by. As of today, July 15th,-no call, no rug. We had to purchased a new rug and will certainly redo our floors but will find someone who is truthful and trustworthy to do the work. This company is neither of those things. We had a great deal of inconvenience and aggravation with no apology or acknowledgement from this company. You have been warned! Use at your own risk. I am giving this company one star because you can’t give it a zero!
