Gino’s Pizza

Quite honestly, I think this place has the best buffalo wings in the Lindenwold/​Clementon/​Pine Hill area. If there is a better take-​out place for wings, I surely would love to know. It seems everyone is going with the Wing Zings (Pat’s and Crown Fried Chicken). I am not a fan of that product. The hoagies and steaks are fine. I have not tried their pizza, however. It was nice that they were on the Double Take Offers website. The strip mall it is located in is a pain in the rear end to make a left turn out of onto Blackwood-​Clementon Road.

After deciding to diverge myself from Pat’s Pizza (Or better know for their Cheese-​steaks) I decided to try out a couple of things from Gino’s Pizza.
As I called in, the lady that was taking my order over the phone bluntly accepted and acknowledged my order. I don’t care if you enjoy your job or not but you shouldn’t make yourself sound sarcastic and unappreciative to your paying costumer over the phone. In simpler terms she was most definitely rude.
I Ordered: 2 CHEESE-​STEAKS and 1 FRIED CALAMARI (I know, Fried Calamari from a cheap take-​out restaurant, Really?)
The delivery was most definitely swift and effective. I called in and received my food in less than 15 minutes. As for the quality of the food, wasn’t looking too good.
As I go to reveal my cheese-​steaks, i find that the toppings i requested were poorly placed on the bread and the bread itself was quite chewy (was expecting a nice crunch to them). It also seemed that the meat used could have been better fitted with burgers. So much for cheese-​steaks, huh? Pretty much the Calamari went down hill from here too. The fake calamari didn’t even look like real calamari. The calamari that I received resemble that of old onion rings. The fake calamari was too dark to be a legitimate piece of calamari and the food itself was too salty. Foods being too salty for me is a definite no-​no.
In conclusion, if you like cheap salty food, Gino’s Pizza is for you. If you also enjoy sarcastic waitress this place is for you as well. Now, if you enjoy rustic and simple fast food, I highly recommend Pat’s Pizza (Serve one of the best cheese-​steaks in my area). Be sure to have your Tums or Pepto-​Bismal in-​hand while you eat from Gino’s Pizza.
