Woody’s actually took back 3 unused kegs, and OFFERED us the credit. Then he conveniently forgot there were three, and instead changed it to two. So he profited from the third. I did not pick up the kegs this time, a friend did. His clerk told me she noticed HERERROR after my friend left and yet, she did not call me to tell me of HERERROR. She accepted responsibility, but her boss, Barry Woods, did not. When I called, Barry said I should not keep my bank account so low that a double charge would affect it so negatively. It is not his business how much money I keep in my account, only that I had the money in there to cover the AGREED upon amount. However it is his business to hire competent employees and to accept responsibility when that employee makes a costly mistake. My friend was not aware of the price discussion, and was only there to pick up the kegs, not get involved in the transaction. Barry knew this as we had this conversation over the phone, when I gave him my credit card number. We had an agreed upon price and his employee charged double the amount. When I called, she then proceeded to tell me she couldn’t credit my account unless I gave her my number over the phone again. I told her I would give it to Barry(since she was already untrustworthy). Turns out he had the number after all, and I did not have to give it to him. If appears that was a stall tactic. It took over a week to get the credit. Too bad… because my organization is ordering another 18 kegs for a divisional event hosting 250 people from Florida and Georgia in October, and another event in December where we will order 10 more kegs(We like our beer). Guess where we are NOT getting our kegs from??? Woody’s Liquor lost a potentially incredible amount of money by screwing over the wrong group!
