I received a delivery from my daughter, for my birthday, who ordered from 1−800-flowers. When I sent her a picture of the flowers and to say thank you she cried and couldn’t believe what I received. She then sent me a picture of what she ordered and I was shocked !! How many people never see what they actually send and are charged top $$$$ and the recipient is sent a small arrangement. I called the florist and got a RUDE woman named Charlotte who just wanted to argue with me and could care less how me or my daughter felt. NEVER use this company and I will make 1−800-flowers aware of all these bad reviews. In the end I sent 1−800-Flowers corporate the pictures and they issued my daughter a full refund as they agreed with me, it was a horrible arrangement and not even close to what she ordered. It still doesn’t make up for my daughters disappointment when she saw what she thought was going to be a beautiful arrangement.

Laura G. 1800 flowers should not use this florist to fill their orders. The flowers were the wrong size, wrong color, wrong type of flower and were delivered the wrong day. The arrangement looked nothing like the website picture. I was embarrassed and apologized to the recipient. I think the grocery store could have sent a better arrangement. To 1800flowers credit they redelivered new flowers for the next day using a different florist shop. They made a bad situation better for me. I will still use 1800flowers but, never ever«The Florist Family»! They really took advantage of the customer in this case. I only found out because the recipient sent me a picture of the ratty flowers I sent!

I received a fruit basket from the florist family for my birthday and it was absolute garbage. It was not edible and went straight in the trash. This fruit must have been sitting on the shelf for months. No one could ever look at this mess and mistake it for fresh fruit. Really putrid.

Delivered Dead and Dying Flowers I received flowers for mother’s day yesterday. I seriously thought it was a joke. Some of the flowers arrived already limped over. Today they are so dead that they are ready for the trash. The cost for these dead flowers were $ 100. The company has had their phone off of the hook all day. I sent an email to them in which they have not answered. DONOTDOBUSINESSWITHTHISCOMPANY. Be sure to dispute the charge on your credit card — take pictures!

I received a bouquet of flowers for Mothers Day from my boyfriend and the first bouquet was wilting the all the peddles falling off my flowers. He also called 1800-flowers, and they sent The Flower Family to my home. The rep couldn’t even find my delivery at first. They eventually found me ad said they would send some more out same day. They did and the 2nd order was exactly the same. Avoid at all costs if you want to avoid wasting money on flowers that may last you a day, if they show up with petals at all.

I’m not sure if The Flower Shoppe is to blame or if it’s 1−800-FLOWERS that dropped the ball, but a bait and switch was made and I find that to be a really terrible thing to do to somebody who is already overpaying for flowers. I ordered a medium sized summer bouquet and with a total of almost $ 80, I was expecting my girlfriend to get something amazing. The next day I dropped by her office for lunch and saw the tiny, poor excuse for anything over $ 20 «bouquet.» The picture online showed a much bigger bouquet and had at least 4 sunflowers in the picture. This had 2 very small sunflowers and I’m sure the vase would’ve fit in my cup holder. I immediately called 1−800-Flowers and mentioned I had a complaint about the size. They asked for the last name of the recipient and before I could give the order number, the gentleman on the phone said, «oh, they accidentally delivered the small bouquet.» This made me wonder how much this happens«accidentally.» I know this happened to my Mom last year when she sent a bouquet to my Grandmother through 1−800-Flowers and if it wasn’t for my Grandmother sending a picture to my Mom thanking her, my Mom would’ve never known that they sent the wrong bouquet. And, it’s the same with me. If I hadn’t stopped by my girlfriend’s office, I might have never known they sent the small when I paid for the medium. It’s a really deceitful and pathetic thing to do, especially when people are already paying too much for what they’re already expecting. 1−800-Flowers said they will come back out the same day and replace her bouquet with the correct one. They offered no apology or discount, they literally just said to have my girlfriend bring the previous bouquet out front and they would give the new one. This experience was such a joke that I will never use 1−800-Flowers or an affiliated florist of theirs again. Like I said, I’m not sure if the Florist or 1−800-Flowers made the mistake, or if it was even a mistake because it seems like an easy thing to bait and switch. Lesson learned for me as I will stick to the old school method of going to a trusted Florist like Apple Blossom and just delivering it myself. For out of town deliveries, I’ll stick with Edible Arrangements, they haven’t let me down yet.
