Tampa Bay Escape Room

We had a great time at the Tampa Bay Escape Room in Clearwater! We went for my children’s birthday on Jan. 30, 2016. The clues were a mixture of easy and hard, and they had someone watching who could give you clues if you were stuck. I made it out in about 46 minutes. The staff was especially friendly and helped us on the phone with directions. I recommend the Tampa Bay Escape Room to people of all ages for a fun, exciting time.

We were in town from Austin, TX and were looking for something to do with our nephews who are 10 and 13. I have heard of these escape rooms so we decided to give it a try. It was a blast and the kids loved it too. We got a lot of joy seeing them work on the puzzles and clues. It was difficult but with a little help from the clues we were able to complete the room in the 60 mins. I would recommend this if you’re looking for something new.

I took my daughter and 3 friends to do the Music Producer Escape room. They had a fantastic time discovering clues and codes! They managed to escape with only 1 minute and 45 seconds to go. Thankfully, the staff was so generous in the success of the girls finding their way out which made for a very memorable birthday adventure. There was also a hidden birthday message inside the room for my daughter to find. It was such a thoughtful thing to do and a nice touch to the party! Thank you Tampa Bay Escape Room for making my daughters birthday unforgettable!!!

On spring break and the kids were looking for something to do in the evenings. Found this escape room. We loved it. Went with a group of 8 for the record producers room. My kids had done escape rooms in the past but the instructor always stayed in the room. This one they left you alone. We really liked that. The room was the best they had done by far. We struggled a little so asked for a clue. The clue was great, not a straight do this but a hint to get back on track. They lived it so much they talked me into coming back later in the week for the kidnapped room and we were not disappointed. Even harder but fair not impossible things you could never get. Will go back the next time we are in town and they have a new room.

We went to the Tampa Bay Escape Room for the second time last night. The first time we did the music room and this time we did KIDNAPPED. It was awesome! We only had 1 second left on the clock (the pressure was on!) You can tell the owners and staff put a ton of work, time, and brainstorming into this room and it was well worth the wait.
If you have never been to the Tampa Bay Escape Room, here are a few tips. If you have some younger folks in your group or do not want as much of a challenge, do the music room. If you are looking for something a bit harder, do the Kidnapped room. They are both equally as fun! Also, if you do not want strangers in your group, come with enough people to fill the maximum for that room.
The owners and staff go above and beyond to make this an awesome time for everyone. We have been to most of the different escape the room challenges in the Tampa area, and this one is the BEST. If you can only choose one location, go HERE. Even if you live in Tampa and there are ones closer to you… cross the bridge and go to this one. You will not regret it.

My wife setup an escape room here for 6 of us for my birthday. We had a blast. The challenge was difficult and very creative in terms of clues and puzzles. They even setup a Happy Birthday sign with one of the clues. All in all, I would highly recommend doing this while you are vacationing in Clearwater. Very team building and super fun.

I heard about this place from my son who came here a few weeks ago. He said it was a must that we try it. So we did. We went with another couple so it was just the four of us in our Escape Room. Let me tell you, we had a blast. We laughed, we cussed, and knowing all along that we were being watched. Both of the ladies working there were the best with their little clues. I thought it was a little pricey at first but after you experience it, you realize how much is involved. We are waiting for their next room to open can’t wait to try it. The only downside is you can only experience a room once.

Very creative. Up to 6 people but I think we were fortunate to have only had me and my wife. Fun team building exercise.
This is great for all. The room was small but not too small. Nothing scary. Would be great for most ages. I say probably 10 and up. This was based around a music moral story line but that doesn’t really matter. Go in with an open mind and have fun.
This is our first experience and won’t be our last.
The employee was very nice and the rest rooms were clean.

My first experience in an escape room and it was exhilarating. I was in a room with four other coworkers. It was a music room and there were five of us and it was challenging and we all needed to work together and everyone brought something to the table and it was an incredible experience. I highly recommend this as a fun activity for you and your friends

Tampa Bay Escape Room’s «Music Producer» was the 36^th escape game I played. The room itself is a bit small and on the basic side when it comes to scenic /​décor. The omission of any type of background music /​sound track /​sound effects was a bit detracting from the experience, as that’s one of the little things that can go a long way with story and mood. The game play itself was fun. A lot of things I had seen elsewhere in other escape rooms, but not out of place in the theme pf the room. At the end of the day, Music Producer is a fairly average escape room experience as it stands in the specific moment of time when I personally experienced it. What has me excited for their future, and makes me recommend giving them a shot down the road is their wonderful staff and enthusiastic owner. Everything here was designed and built in-​house, and it’s evident to me as an experienced player that they are actively trying every day to learn new things to improve their future product. Their second room already in progress sounds like it very well could be the vehicle to kick the quality of guest experience up an entire new notch or two. I look forward to visiting again in the future to see how things have grown and improved!

Loved it! We were visiting for business and decided to try this out one night. Such a unique experience and the owner was so friendly! We will be back next time we’re in town!

This was the first time I’ve ever done anything like this. It was a lot of fun!
I don’t want to give anything away because the mystery is what makes it fun, but I will say, even my 7 year old daughter had a blast!
I think this is a good attraction for singles, couples, or even the whole family. It’s really great for all ages. Like I said, I don’t want to give anything away, but if you haven’t done anything like this before, check it out. It’s worth it!

We had the pleasure of being one of the first groups to run though the new Tampa Bay Escape Room in downtown Clearwater. What a blast!
We hadn’t done an escape room before, so this was a unique experience. Essentially, your group (up to 8) are «trapped» in a themed room and have 60 minutes to escape. The room is full of clues and you work through a series of steps to get out. I don’t want to give anything away, but it’s a combination of finding hidden objects, finding clues, solving problems, decoding, and more. Plus, there are a number of surprises that are very fun.
Although the puzzles are not easy, you can get hints along the way if you need them. The Escape Room staff monitors game play by cameras, so you are not really alone. It feels a lot like you are on a reality TV show. The whole experience is really well done.
And don’t worry — the room is not at all claustrophobic and you can always get out if you really want to.
This escape room is the first of its kind in the Clearwater area, and I think this is going to become a «must see» attraction.
