Loved this place! Music was good, service was good, I will be back!

Great hookah lounge. Attractive and very comfortable interior and top-notch hookahs. However, some changes have taken place since management changed. The Moroccan mint tea was disappointing, a cheesy looking mug with a moroccan mint tea bag in it. Under the previous management the tea came in tea leaves that had to be steeped and was a much tastier mint tea.

Hookah was yummy and cheap. We got grape mint and I really enjoyed it. Service was good. It gets really smokey inside and very packed on the weekends.

It was good until we had to wait 35 minutes for another coal when it was barely busy inside.

All I can say is this place is so cheap! Everything from their coffee to the shisha and the coals. Order«premium» shisha and get a cheaper version that tastes like burning plastic. Will never go again

Love love love this place… Don’t have enough words to describe it. Super friendly owners. Very good and fast service. You can get the best hookah here. They have the bellydancing show on Saturday nights from 11:00 pm. Make sure to check this place out. Highly recommend!!! 5+ stars

What a cozy, clean little place to come and chill! I came here one Sunday evening with two friends after getting rained out on Clearwater beach. It was my first time and I was pretty impressed when I walked through the door. They have several sections throughout the shop where you can sit with a group in large, comfy sofas and relax. A bonus — there are several really cute and really large stuffed animal hedgehogs laying across the couches that I thought were a nice touch. I am not a hookah smoker myself so I can’t give a review on the smoking experience firsthand, only though my friends. They ordered a Strawberry and Banana flavor hookah and they said it was great. It lasted 2 hours as well. I ordered their Moroccan tea which was the store’s own mixture of green tea and mint. It was really comforting and tasted amazing. My friend got one of their mango smoothies and that was pretty good as well. They offer a few food items that looked really tasty but they were out of everything I asked for because I guess the weekend rush wipes them out of stock! I had brought Cards Against Humanity for us to play so that kept us entertained for the entire duration of our stay. I would love to come back here and maybe with a larger group too. You don’t have to smoke to enjoy yourself here. Just some good company and be ready to leave your worries at the door.

The owner stiffed us! I have a local advertising business located down the street at 645 Cleveland from this business. When they opened back in September of 2012, the owner(David Spears) or his Manager walked in to our office and ordered a very simple web brochure for less than $ 1,000. We normally charge a lot more but made an exception because they were hard negotiating that they were a brand new business, neighbors and their cash flow was tight. Thinking we were helping, we agreed to the project and we did the work super fast. Once it was completed they then demanded a bunch of free fully customized change orders, which we did… around 50 hours invested into the project. After all that work and a few weeks later, he had the nerve to come into our office, create a huge scene by yelling and screaming at our staff in a nonsensical, crazed and confused manner — extremely insulting bad manners. To say the least, we were befuddled as we could not understand why he would be so upset after we had worked so diligently to provide exactly what he wanted at price points well under our normal fees. Without any other notice, later that month, our bank informed us that they initiated complete credit card charge backs. Since 1999, we have assisted over 7,000 businesses with advertising and marketing — never have we been treated so rudely by someone so out exchange. Judging from some of the other recent posts — not much has changed. If they would like to come over with good manners and settle up on what they owe, we would be more than happy to amend this report. Until then, buyer beware…

If you’re between the ages of 18 – 22 and enjoy good hookah and below average local rappers, this is absolutely the place for you. As an out of towner in her mid twenties, my heart broke when the DJ stopped to let a few high schoolers who couldn’t ride the beat take over.

I have not visited this place since the new owners took over. When I went there, the environment was very intimate and cozy. It’s clean, quiet and just a great place to relax and have a conversation. The staff was very kind and informative. The hookah never ran out and we had bubbles to play with! The downside is the lack of alcohol, since in my opinion, the best conversations come with wine. The lack of food was also a downer. I still enjoyed myself and am excited to check this place out again. It is to my understanding that the new owners have a permit to serve liquor or at least beer and wine. They have also added food items that are somewhat comparable to bar food(ick).

By far the absolute BEST hookah lounge I’ve ever been to! They have the most options to choose from not only in flavors but also additives that make the hookah smoking experience that much better. Their hours are great, the atmosphere is chill but upscale at the same time, employees are very friendly and helpful, nice to talk to as well! I can’t put into text how happy I was with my experience everyone who loves hookah or even first timers needs to try this place out, it’s like the filet mignon of hookah lounges in the area!

First time trying hookah and I’m glad to say I went here for it. Staff here are very nice and knowledgable about their products. The atmosphere is relaxed and has many places you can sit and have conversations. I loved the giant porcupine :) I wouldn’t think twice about going back, it was a great night.

Not too many places open in the evenings downtown Clearwater. This spot has coffee, cold drinks, desserts plus if you want hookah. Some of the best coffee and dessert I’ve had in Clearwater. Very very comfortable seating inside and a great patio. The service is excellent

Three words to start. UNDERNEWMANAGEMENT as of 11-29-2013 I am from Los Angeles and smoke hookah daily. I was in town for vacation in Clearwater and happened to find mr hookah when looking for a place to go with some friends. 1. The environment: Upon entering I was absolutely stunned at the interior design of this place. It screams class and relaxation. Awesome modern, cozy and classy design. Big cushy chairs and couches. Very aesthetic and tasteful. 2. The staff: The new owners name is Sam. He is a real hookah aficionado from Lebanon. Extremely cool, communicative and friendly guy. His hospitality is unmatched. I felt like we were best friends. He owns two other successful hookah lounges in Tampa. Let’s just say he knows what he’s doing. He even gave my friends and I a tour of the kitchen area in the back. It was very very organized and clean. I went again the next day and he invited me to sit with him and his friends. All super cool people. The offered green apples dipped in salt was a nice touch. There was a manager there named Avelyn. Extremely charming and beautiful girl. Needless to say my friends and I were quite pleased with her service and friendliness. She also made hands down one of the best lattes I have ever had, and that’s saying a lot as I’m an avid coffee drinker. 3. The hookahs: This lounge features Khalil Mamoon hookahs. If you’re not familiar, this is a handcrafted brand from Egypt and they smoke great. 4. The shisha options: They offer many flavors of shisha(hookah tobacco). These range from fruity flavors to rich and spicy flavors, as well as many exotic ones. Some of the brands I noticed were Starbuzz, Al Fakher and Fantasia. I personally tried the Cactus Breeze from Fantasia. Great flavor. Had a fruity sort of apricot taste to it. Sam even gave us ice in the bowl for thicker smoke and orange flavor in the base to make an even better taste. 5. The conclusion: This is the best hookah lounge I’ve ever been to. It by far exceeded my expectations and blows away any Los Angeles hookah lounge I’ve been to. Go here. Experience it.

I finally found a great place to smoke hookah in the Tampa Bay area! this place is extremely cozy, it feels as if you are walking into your living room, tastefully decorated with well ventilation. They have an extensive choices of hookah tobacco flavors, and a killer coffee. The only disadvantage for me is that is quite a drive from where I live, but for picky hookah smoker like me, it is well worth the drive! I can’t wait to be back

A Real Hookah Lounge — The more upscale Hookah lounge for the more upscale hookah smoker Upon arriving here for the first time, I had no clue what laid behind the doors or what to expect. Upon entering I was more than pleasantly surprised. My first time coming, I came in the middle of the week on relatively non-busy night. The owner, David, was more than welcoming. I then noticed differences between the different hookah lounges I have been acquainted with. Normally there are two types of hookah lounges/bars: 1. The teenage, loud 1960’s hippie type lounge with loud music, loud cursing and immaturity. 2. Then there are the Arab type Hookah Lounges/Restaurants which are a hybrid of either a night club, belly dancer, Arabic music, with a hookah option, or a restaurant with the same features. THEN there is this type of Hookah lounge which is Mr. Hookah: The rules are clear and upfront which actually make it very unique: The first feature, which I like, is the men’s dress code(and I’m a guy, however the ladies will appreciate it too): No flip flops, baggy clothing, sleeveless shirts, tank tops or hats). The second feature, is the music, the music ranges from blues, to Bob Marley, Enya, and other genres that are easy listening and«cozy» per se. Though the owner is middle eastern, there is no middle eastern music playing, which tones creates a balance of the mix of people, to suit the type of person who wants to chit chat with friends, hang out alone and just enjoy a hookah experience. Interestingly enough, I cannot find anything offensive, even in the sense that it could be family friendly. Now I have nothing against the other types of hookah establishments. But this is a real lounge. Kind of like a Starbucks, where anyone can go with a group of friends and just have a good time. I would say this establishment is a well kept secret. David, took me to the back and actually gave me a tour of the kitchen, types of tobacco, the freshness of his ingredients, and the coffee is excellent. However, there is no food served. He also taught me how to move the coals effectively across the hookah for the best flavor. One of the things I found most interesting, was there option for washed tobacco. I had never heard of that. What washing does(if you choose it) is take out the molasses and glycerin making the hookah even smoother. I have returned as a customer and plan on many more enjoyable experiences here. Lastly try the Barrel Coffee… it’s awesome!

I absolutely adore this place! Definitely give 5 stars would give it 10 if I could! As soon as we walked in, we were instantly greeted by the owner, who was very friendly and inviting. It’s quiet(not like others overflowing with teens), the tea is phenomenal, great shisha, and not to mention all of their hookahs are KHALIL(the best). We travel quite a bit, and stop at a hookah bar in every city we visit definitely one of the best. My love and I would consider ourselves veteran hookah smokers as we smoke hookah everyday and never travel without take atleast one of our hookahs with us.

This place is a very nice place for a average hookah smoker. It’s even better for a veteran hookah smoker. The reason I say this is because all the other lounges in the area seem very … dirty, not well kept, run by a bunch of highschool kids or kids in their early twenties. This lounge is more mature, dispite only being open for a couple months. The place is beautiful and the seating is very comfortable. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The hookahs are made like they’re suppose to be, and the music is very eloquent. The first review about the guy complaining about flipflops seems to have a misunderstanding. They have a dress code, and they allowed him to stay even though he wasn’t dressed appropriate and he still complained. Give this place a shot. I’m certain you wont regret it. –Self proclaimed veteran hookah smoker of 12 years This wast review before, for some reason it didn’t stay up so I’m reposting. Thanks Unilocal ;-)

I have traveled all over the United States, and I personally love smoking hookah, It’s one of the first things I look for when I go somewhere. Hotel, food, water, hookah lounge, lol. I have long lamented the lounges that have crazy lasers, strobe lights, and loud music. For me, hookah is relaxation, it’s comfort, it’s chill time… alot of times in the past I have had to choose between comfortable seating in a loud, dank, club like atmosphere or a café style, uncomfortable booth style hookah lounge. Mr Hookah is like no other lounge I have been to, the music is soft classical, and quiet, the seating is LUSCIOUS and VERY comfortable. I cannot understand why people would gripe about the dress code, I came in jeans, and a suit coat. I cannot understand why Ray R. would would complain. I mean, I can see why it would be a bummer, but my only disappointment would be that i would have to go home to get shoes on, and trust me, shoes are well worth this place… furthermore, he complains that he was asked not to tell… so not only did he complain about the dress code, they let it slide, and he still griped, how disrespectful can you be man. no bueno. The hookah was great, the owner had great service, the hostess was kind, and funny,(and very beautiful) It’s a great place to just hang out and relax, this was my first time there and I spent FIVEHOURS there without even realizing it… I had two large bowls which i smoked constantly and i still had a lot left when they closed. I can’t rave about this place enough, I feel like Mr Hookah could be the future Starbucks of hookah, one on every corner… I’m trying to think of something negative to say that they could improve on… ah, I guess maby … The worst thing about this place is that I live 40 min away… nevertheless, I plan on going there ATLEAST, ATLEAST once a month if not more… I really wish I lived closer.(it took me 10 full min to come up with something negative)
