Excellent authentic Mexican food!!! I have lived all over the world and including 4 years in Mexico… If you want great Mexican food then you have to go to Juli’s. Juli came out and greeted us and was extremely polite and sweet to me and my family. We had an excellent dining experience. Thank you Juli!

She makes the best barbacoa in town. We have been going there for a while and never lets me down. The food is excellent, the place is very clean. If you are looking for good, traditional Mexican food, this is the place to go.

Taco’s were ok, not much to them. Nothing special… And they messed up our order. We ordered three beef tacos with beans and rice. But when we got home we only got 3 ok tacos and no rice or beans.. Not going back!

Great place, somewhat hole in the wall, met the owner and she’s the nicest lady there is. The combo fajitas were awesome, comes out sizzling but not drenched in oil like most places. Vegetables cooked just right and not soft, all the shrimp chicken and steak taste great and aren’t over seasoned. The fajita tortillas could damn well be homemade, the salsa definitely is, and all taste very fresh. Spanish rice and refried beans are definitely a big step up from commercial entities, I actually eat the entire portion, when I typically have a bite and ignore it.
They don’t drench everything in cheese or sour cream, if you need sauces use the salsa on your fajita and you won’t be disappointed. I tipped well, the service was «meh» but the food was stellar and I’m a sucker for family businesses. HIT THEM UP

The most authentic Mexican I have had ANYWHERE in Pinellas county. The tacos were amazing, just like In Mexico with a little onion and cilantro. The chips and salsa were excellent and the guacamole was good .
DEFINITELY COME HERE IF YOU WANT THE BEST MOST AUTHENTIC MEXICAN IN PINELLAS COUNTY

If you want a chain, this isn’t the place. If you want fresh authentic Mexican food, this is amazing! Great food, friendly service and casual. Love it!

This isn’t even close to good Mexican food… Carne asada couldn’t be more bland… Beer wasn’t cold, dining room wasn’t clean, service was slow, table salsa was mediocre at best.
What on earth made people rate this a 5?

Juli came out personally and was very sweet! The chips and salsa were a hit with my girls. Food was good and we will come back.

One of the best tasting mexican foods that I have for a long time. Everything is made in house and you can really taste the quality. Highly recommended!

¡¡ODM! (Spanish version for OMG) WOW! What an awesome place this is. Don’t let the outside fast food look a like restaurant fool you. This is AUTHENTIC Mexican food and it was excellent, fresh, came out fast, and portions can serve two meals if you eat until no longer hungry instead of full. If you know authentic Mexican food and don’t see a dish you like in the menu ask Juli, if it’s authentic Mexican she will make it for you just like she did for me (Torta de Carne Asada). Also the menu offer a good variety of regular American meals and kids menu for the picky ones. Service was outstanding and friendly. Prices were very low compared to overpriced chain Mexican restaurants. This is a hidden gem in Clearwater. Fruit waters a must try, they are thirst quenching, natural, made with fresh fruits, healthy and «deliciosas».

This place sort of confused me. It looks like a fast food place from the outside, but once you got inside, it was like a sit down place. I thought the tables were dirty at first but it was just peeling paint on them. We sat there about 10 minutes before anyone said, «Hi» to us. Once Juli arrived she was very nice and sweet. We ordered two items plus tamales. Mine came with french fries, which was weird. It was too spicy hot for me to eat. I switched food with my husband who ordered a burrito. The burrito was not as hot. By adding some sour cream I could eat it. We ordered tamales. They were very good and not very spicy. We stopped in there a few weeks later and just ordered tamales. She gave us a different type of tamale and they were too hot for me to eat. I really thought Juli was sweet but the food was just too hot. My mother told me when I was young that if you want good Mexican food, go to a restaurant where Mexican people eat. There was a good crowd each time we went. My husband loved it, so if you want spicy Mexican food this might be the place for you.

I dined here on a cold Saturday evening with a friend. The chicken posole was excellent. Obviously homemade it had loads of chicken and a wonderful spicy kick to warm you up. My taquitos were crispy and filled with chicken. Buttery corn and tasty rice filled out the meal. This was a great home cooked meal served by the lovely and friendly Juli. Prices were very reasonable.

Wow. Great friendly service and delicious food. Very clean and comfortable. Definetly authentic… must be on your list of places to stop. understand I’m in an 8 year relationship so good for us. Not a first date place. Very relaxed and everyday. Guess we would say comfort food.

Had the chicken fajitas and the steak tacos. Absolutely delicious, great quality, super sweet people.

We went here with our kids and The grandparents. Everyone loved it! Everything is fresh and made to order! Juli waited on us. She is so sweet and takes very much pride in her food and trust me it shows!

Really good and really fresh. I had the camarones ala Diablo — perfect amount of heat. Mom had the chicken dorados. She raved about then. Corn tortillas made fresh in house. Our waitress was super friendly. Woukd definitely come back

We were visiting the west side of florida and decided to try Juli’s in Clearwater. Upon arriving we were greeted with a friendly smile and the service was excellent. Traditional Mexican food is very difficult to come by as most Mexican restaurants are geared more toward American flavors.
The flavors of the food were out of this world. From the first bite to the last bite, the flavors just explode as you eat into wonderful flavors on the palate. The food was very authentic and similar to what you find if visiting Mazatlan Mexico. The atmosphere is very quiet and the restaurant is very clean.

Had lunch here the other day. Wasn’t great, but wasn’t horrible.
I had the green enchiladas, just very acidic and not very flavorful. Beans and rice were pretty bland. Boyfriend got a burrito that was alright, bland but not bad.

Friendly and very clean. Food is authentic. I had the Torta Cubano and thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the French fries were tasty!
Already planning the return trip for soup and dinner items.
