Overall service was superb. We could count on Larry and his team to be onsite every week as agreed. Accounting methods are questionable. I am not sure that he has a professional handling this for him. It seems like a family member with mediocre experience. All payments were paid monthly but not applied appropriately where needed. The only downfall of Dog Days Pool service was that he left our gate key on the outdoor patio with no notice or explanation of service discontinuation. Instead we had to inquire via text if he accidentally left his key. Explanation was tree and high ground level. We had been a customer of Larry’s for over a year. And while we were not pleased with his accounting department, the method of service discontinuation non-notification. We were pleased with his abilities to keep our pool clean and weekly accountability.

Update! The previous review was submitted, 16 days later, the biz owner Larry Alcorn sent me a letter and apologized for having a bad day. He refunded me $ 348.00 and did the stand up thing as a biz owner. I appreciate that… I’ve deleted my previous review. No quid pro quo, just thought it was right.

I am a Real Estate agent and had a seller’s home pool being taken care of by someone else. 3 days before closing we find out that service had not kept the pool up and it was full of algae. Larry came to the rescue and got the pool cleaned up in time for us to close the sale. I definitely recommend him and his company.
