Really nice atmosphere and great food for a good price. Wasn’t the BEST breakfast but it was very good hence the 4⁄5. Had eggs and toast and sausage. Sausage is amazing! Its a pretty small place though so I’m sure it gets packed on the weekend and theres only a couple large tables

Great place to grab breakfast or lunch. Eggs pancakes sandwiches and burgers are all good. Services is prompt and cheerful. Prices are low, especially for the location right across from the Hilton.

I needed a quick lunch and walked from the Hilton across the street. What a gem of a place. Awesome wait staff, great menu, and quick service. I had the grilled mahi sandwich with fries. Everything was great! I am planning on going there for breakfast tomorrow!

Yep, this breakfast and lunch place is as good as it gets as far as greasy spoons go. Right across the street from the Hilton. We went here nearly every day for breakfast and on Saturday we got hot dogs to go and had a lovely beach picnic. The breakfast is pretty standard. Eggs, bacon, omelets and hash. The fruit bowl is humongous so if you order it, be prepared to share with the entire restaurant. The coffee is not the best but the staff is super duper friendly and the place is really quaint. It’s been there over 20 years so they know how to move people in and out. The prices can’t be beat! Average $ 8 per person for breakfast(including coffee). Now for the best part… the hotdogs. Oh the hotdogs! They are 100% beef kosher. Qtr lb grilled and served on a bakery roll. I topped mine with onions, tomatoes, relish, mustard and ketchup. I couldn’t finish all of it but my husband was quite happy to help. I got cole slaw as the side. It was good, but average. Please stop in and TIPWELL! These ladies are workin it!

This place is a gem! Ate there once for lunch and LOVED the italian sub. The waitress recommended it hot but I was in the mood for a cold sandwich and was not disappointed. All of the ingredients were fresh and it was delicious! The next morning, we went back for breakfast and it was the same. Great food and fast, friendly service! Love this place and will definitely return when we visit Clearwater again!

My family and i were looking for a place to eat after we went to the beach. We walked around and saw this place, it is really nice and clean. The burgers and sandwiches were delicious and it feels like everything is home made. I would definitely come back to this place and for a family of 5 $ 60 was not bad.

Cute place. Seems to always have a wait except if you can snag a counter chair. Service is attentive. Food is good. Overall: quick and convenient, especially if you’re staying at a nearby hotel and want to dine offsite for cheap. Basic breakfast place that is tasty.

If you are staying at the Hilton, just have breakfast at the Hilton. We were told 10 minute wait… over 30 minutes later no table.

Had breakfast here one morning. Sat at the bar and ordered an Omelette with a variety of vegetables, including jalapeños. Overall the omelet was pretty tasty. I asked for hot sauce and got a couple of options for Cayenne based pepper sauces. The waitresses are very friendly and a hoot. As I was paying my bill, they asked me how my meal was. I told them it was fine — but I had two suggestions/requests: (1) Offer fresh Jalapeños — not the pickled ones (2) Keep a few bottles of other hot sauces on hand — for example Habanero based hot sauces. She responds they don’t have much room. I told her having a few bottles won’t change your space requirement — they’d fit right on the existing shelf with the existing stock of Tabasco sauce. Good place for breakfast!

Neat little dinner like spot right near the beach. No frills food, but still good selection and resaonable prices, especially compared to other places on the beach in Clearwater.

Delicious breakfast and super fast service! We were in and out within 20 minutes! I got the breakfast egg-ritos(burrito) with cheese and a coffee for about $ 6. Very reasonable prices! Located right in the center of town, near the beach.

This place was right across the street from the hotel we were staying at and advertised $ 3.99 breakfast so we thought we would give it a go. It is a small restaurant with not many tables and you can watch them cook on the grill from almost anywhere in the restaurant. The menu has quite a few different options to choose from for not a lot of money. They had specials on the board if you weren’t already having trouble for narrowing it down. The service was great and the food came out very quickly. The food was great and there was a lot of it. Clearwater is a touristy place, if you are looking for a reasonable breakfast place this is where you should go. What more could you ask for tasty food for little money!

Great place to grab brunch! Food was delicious. Very home style cooking. Place is a bit small. We had 6 in our party and had to split between 2 tables. Other than that, it was good.

All the reviews made this place seem like a hidden gem so we had to give it a try. Yesterday, are breakfast was so great I was expecting something similar again from here. Not the case, unfortunately. The staff were friendly and the hash browns were good. Only two things this place has going for it. The french toast wasn’t cooked all the way thru. The omelet was made with packaged cheese, not freshly sliced American. The bacon was thin and flaky. The large OJ was $ 4! Everyone on Unilocal raved about the cheap eats here but we still spent $ 27+ tip for barely mediocre food. I was sadly disappointed because I was hoping for the best. If you truly want fried eggs and hash browns for cheap, then go here. If you want an excellent breakfast without feeling claustrophobic with a great atmosphere and a Bloody Mary bar, go one block further to Clear Sky Café. A few more dollars for an amazing meal.

Why 5 stars, because they hit the target on every mark, we had pancakes, they were light and fluffy like a pancake should be and they had flavor, to add to that they have a homemade Coconut syrup they make that kicks it up a koch. We had a spinach Florentine Benedict that was awesome, the hollandaise sauce was light and very tasty. We had a build your own Omelette that was spot on! The staff was very friendly and the place is very clean. The only thing I could say is the kitchen was very slow but I cannot trash them on that as it was a Sunday morning at 11 o’clock and they were at capacity, they were doing the best they could and the waitress was very apologetic and kept checking on us . 5 stars for them!

Fast, fresh, tasty breakfast dump right next to the Hilton hotel. We came here twice we liked it so much during our stay in Clearwater Beach! Good spot for tourists. Try the Greek omelet. Very cheesy and full of delicious goodness.

Right in the heart of Clearwater Beach, the Beach Shanty Café is a quaint little spot to grab a quick breakfast before hitting the beach. I had only 30 minutes to spare so we were seated right away and served within minutes. There were daily specials and a variety of breakafst entrees and sandwiches to select from. I got the basic two eggs breakfast with bacon so it’s hard to mess up, but the service was unbeatable — attentive, quick and could manage a crowd.
