Bayside Heating & Air Conditioning

I needed to find a company to perform annual maintenance on my AC unit. I originally made an appointment with another company, but they called me the morning of the appointment and cancelled. I went with Bayside instead because they had a Groupon for a reasonable price to perform the maintenance, and they had good reviews on Angie’s List and the Better Business Bureau. The technician, Don, did a great job, explaining the few issues with my AC unit and explaining how they could be resolved. He also gets bonus points for being from Long Island. I signed up for a three year maintenance contract, & I am positive that I will continue to receive outstanding service.

Great Service and Staff! Our air conditioner, after 15 years, decided to die during the Christmas Holidays. We had 3 companies come out and give us quotes, and out of all of them we chose to go with Bayside — mostly, at first, based on their reports with Angie’s and the BBB, but also because of their kind and knowledgeable staff. In addition Bayside’s sales and service staff weren’t pushy like the other companies who just wanted to sell me the most expensive system. Bayside’s staff were very considerate of our situation and helped us get the most for our money. The install crew were great as well. They made sure to clean up and also took the time to walk us through everything once the installation was complete. We couldn’t be happier with Bayside and we recommend them to everyone!

I called Bayside about a problem with my A/​C. I have a maintenance contract as well as my unit is still under manufactures warranty. It was not an emergency situation, but a situation that none the less needed attention. I left name, address info with operator and was assured someone would call be back. At this point I must say customer service is lacking as I am still waiting on the call back.
UPDATE: NEVER responded to my phone call. does not instill much confidence in this organization.

If you want an honest evaluation or repair of your air conditioning system, Bayside is the one to call. Unlike the bulk of other companies I have dealt with, Bayside tells you the facts and doesn’t try to «strong arm» you into buying something you don’t need. Their repair techs are professional and very friendly. I have been very impressed with the service I have received. Try them once and you will be hooked.
