Came here for father’s day breakfast. The service was slow. Two breakfast appetizers were never delivered. The omelette was not hot. It was tasty, but cold. The iced tea was nasty.

Not from the area, found this place on Unilocal and stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich. So glad I did because it was delicious! I got the egg and veggies sandwich and it was hot off the press! The salsa they use is so yummy and I’m not one for salsa with me eggs but I decided to give it a try. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. There’s something for everyone and you won’t be disappointed!

The food is delicious. The City Grits are so cheesy and have bacon and onions in them. You can order pancakes, waffles, and French Toast Banana Fosters style. Whip cream, pecans, and the most delicious sauce is drizzled over. If you join The Coop, their club, you can get some free food. We got free Beignets! Sometimes, the service can be lackluster and slow.

I’m a foodie who is happy to spend money on delicious food but, this place is highly over priced for what you get. I have eaten here on three occasions every time I tried a new dish and was disappointed. The coffee isn’t very good and the staff are somewhat inattentive. The menu variety is the only reason the deserve any stars.

Had the Hey Lucy… minus the chorizo and added a grilled chicken substitute. All the ingredients tasted fresh. The service was accommodating and friendly. Had some pancakes which were also pretty good. There is a large selection and also unique breakfast/alcoholic morning drinks. I would come here again as the food was good and the quality was exceptional.

First of all, ABEC is a fantastic restaurant, you have to consider it a top 10, heck! you could argue that it’s a top 5 in the breakfast category. It’s really that good. Only tried it once thus gar, I usually wait to post a review just to be sure the consistency is there and the review is fair. But when you have a breakfast this good, why wait. The Western Omelette I ordered was just perfect. The menu offers such a variety, making a choice can be challenging. Was not crazy about the coffee, was better than most but I much rather go a few doors down and grab me a cup at café caribe. I’ll try one of the specialties on my next visit. Service was terrific, waitress was friendly and attentive. So why four and not five? The parking and the pricing. The lot is congested and the dishes though very good are a little high for a breakfast joint. Four sounds about right. I shall return.

No complaints easy to find, the food is good. Get here early on the weekends gets crowded by ten. Cost a little more than your average greasy spoon but worth it. The food quality is better. The waiters are Happy to serve you and friendly. If you order Carry out call ahead sometimes the wait is long.

Not overly impressed. It’s a great location and I was hoping for more. The food was meh, so-so. I will say that the menu makes the food sound like it’s out of this world. It definitely left me leaving bummed(hate when that happens!). The strawberry pancakes were average. They weren’t terrible, but there just wasn’t anything special about them. Didn’t like the fact that you pay extra for fruit on top and there was literally no more than 2 strawberries sliced on the top. Com’mon, make it worth it! The eggs were okay. The bacon was tasty, but oh my goodness so salty. I like some salty bacon, but wow this was over the top. The service was really slow. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time of our visit and I was surprised that our morning dragged on like it did. For being a mid-morning and a bright and sunny day, my only other complaint was that the interior lights were really dark. Good luck Another Broken Egg, I’ll be hard pressed to re-visit!

Eggs-actly What I Craved! LOL… Great breakfast café. Very good breakfast menu and everyone is excellent. We have had several different breakfast at the Broken Egg, my favorite so far is the sweet potato pancake. The restaurant was clean and tastefully decorated. Our waitress(Delaney C.) was pleasant and readily available despite the place being busy. She was outstanding. :)

A good experience for a Sunday breakfast with a party of 7. I had eggs, bacon, and a pancake. The service was good. The over easy eggs were extremely runny and I couldn’t eat the second one. The bacon was too crisp but it was a thick slice so that made up for it. The restaurant bathrooms were clean. I recommend this place for a casual family breakfast.

Visited this place for brunch on Sunday with my lovely coworkers and I must tell you that it was an experience I never expected. My friend had been talking up a storm about this place so of course I was excited to finally be able to try it. The place is very cute. Nice décor, modern with a bit of farm country kitchen twist. We were seated pretty quickly at 11 am on a Sunday. The place wasn’t extremely packed bit it definitely was bustling. We started out with the biscuit beignets. They are completely covered with powdered sugar with a side of orange marmalade syrup. I found the syrup delicious but my coworker’s were not fans. They ate theirs with strawberry jam which was just as good. Some of my coworkers ordered mimosas which tasted fresh. Some even ordered a 2nd round! I ordered the shrimp and grits and they came out pretty cold. The flavor was tasty however, the shrimp was very overdone and tasted like rubber. I told the server about it and she let us order something else and even comped our meal. I was pretty impressed with the service and how quickly they rectified the situation. I ended up ordering the Florida which was an omelette with crab, cheese, with cream cheese inside. It came with a side of potatoes. The potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The omelette was deliciously rich that I had to pace myself before going overboard. All in all I was pretty satisfied. I can’t wait to come back and try something else. Michelle our server was fantastic. Maybe on my next visit, I can finally give this place the 5 stars that it deserves.

Good food but incredibly slow service. Its breakfast it should be quick, an in and out and done. I’ve been here 3 times now and the service has been slow on every occasion. As far as food goes, try the City grits they’re a real treat The pancakes are very light fluffy a real delight

I saw a friend of mine visit this the other day, so I just had to go here. When I walked in I thought that I had walked into Egg Harbor, a café in Atlanta. I even asked the hostess if they were partners, because the coffee cups and the décor are identical, the logo is only slightly different. We were seated, and the table was sticky, I had to ask that it be wiped down. The hostess and our waitress(One in the same) Took care of that immediately, and then she wandered away. It took a little bit of time for her to come back, but when she did, she took our orders, asking if we wanted an appetizer(With breakfast?) We said no and then we placed our order for: The Hawaiian French Toast platter and the Laffitte Tortilla. When the Hawaiian French Toast came I was kind of disappointed, I expected it to be. different. I mean it was simply Kings Hawaiian Bread sliced and made into french bread — tastes the same as Challah bread. I was kind of expecting a macadamia nut sauce or even pineapple but no go. Otherwise it was good. The husbeastie’s tortilla was good, he said it was thick and full. The price was a bit pricey, but the flavours were good. We’d come back.

Good, standard, breakfast food. It was very bizarre how unorganized the seating is. They told us our wait would be about 10 minutes, after waiting for 20, two women came in behind us and were seated immediately by a server who didn’t take the time to see four of us, two separate parties of two, waiting in the waiting area. When we left, the restaurant seemed to be half empty, however there were a ton of people waiting in the waiting area. Bottom line: good standard breakfast food, nothing amazing to write home about.

We were looking for a breakfast place away from the touristy areas and on our way out of town. We are so happy we found this place. Service was great! Food was the best we had during our road trip through Florida. We started with the breakfast beneighs(Very poorly spelled, but yummy lol). I had the smoked salmon Benedict. The egg was perfectly poached and the smoked salmon was delicious. My husband had an omelet… he loved it and loved the potatoes. Our daughter had a kids’ meal which was perfect…½ English muffin, scrambled eggs, bacon and fruit. The coffee was awesome! I couldn’t stop drinking it! Cute little place. Definitely will be back if I find myself in the area again.

A great gem for safety harbor! We arrived around 10:15 on a Sunday morning and were seated right away. Luckily we beat the crowd because 30 min later and there was a wait. I ordered the traditional breakfast with their homemade sausage patties. They were absolutely out of this world. The city grits were great too, but not worth the up charge cost. My husband ordered the southwest scramble and he really enjoyed it. I’m dinging them 2 star for the price of their coffee. It was close to $ 3 a cup and it honestly wasn’t that great. Would I return? For sure and I would definitely order the sausage again.

Quality breakfast restaurant. They have recently opened and I was excited to try a new breakfast place. I am a First Watch fanatic, so when new breakfast place opened up a little closer, I was thrilled. I visited twice in one week and will need to go back before I can call this«excellent» or «amazing», but it is very good and it offers a full bar! First, they have some great options that are not usually offered at a typical breakfast place(beignets). I felt that the menu had a slightly Cajun feel. I am an eggs Benedict feign, so I had the classic and one with bacon. The hollandaise sauce was thick(almost sour cream consistency). I thought the flavor was slightly lacking, but the saltiness of the bacon made up for it. I loved the potatoes, they seemed slightly fried or baked and full of flavor! I also was able to try the grits. I loved the grits! They were thick and garlic-y with a nice bacon and cheese garnish. I brought some health conscious, northerners with me. They enjoyed it. However, it did become noticeable that«healthy options» we’re not well presented. We loved the full bar option and they ate well. The décor is cute and I LOVE that there are inside AND outside seating options! I have faith that this restaurant will do well, but need to return before I can give a 5 star, as the service was great one day and lacking the next.

Had a very good experience! The staff and servers I encountered were very friendly and kept checking with me throughout my meal. I enjoyed the Fried Green Tomato BLT which comes with their special sauce. Be sure to upgrade from the standard diced potatoes to wedge cut type with onions and feta cheese — Yum. Prices were a little higher than First Watch but the décor(not just 4 walls, tables & chairs like First Watch) and service made up for it. Hidden secret, although is not shown on the menu or observable, they have a full bar available if you want a Bloody Mary or Champagne to get you going.

For having just opened a week ago, Another Broken Egg Café was pretty good, and will only get better. They have surprisingly different menu options that I do not see everywhere including beignets, different grits flavors like blackberry, cheesy garlic, or shrimp and grits. They have a crab benedict, southern crab stack, and bananas foster french toast or pancakes. It makes sense when you see that they originally opened in Louisana in 1996. There was a bit of a wait, and since there was they offered samples of beignets, and their coffee to everyone. That was a nice touch, and made the wait not too bad. This location has indoor and outdoor seating so we were happy to get a shaded spot outside so we can have my little dog sit with us. The inside area is also nicely decorated. Our waiter William was very helpful, and nice, and he offered us drinks, and advised us on entrees. Right now, they do not have their full liquor license so peach bellinis were not available. I so was dying for it… Boo, but I have to come back then. We had a few mimosas and they were refreshing, and served in a good sized glass. They also will be offering a lot of different coffee options with liquor. I ordered the southern crab stack with a grit cake, two crab cakes, shrimp, and 4 triangle sides of garlic bread. It was also served with andouille sausage. It was pretty good, but it did need something. I added the pepper sauce on the table, and liked that it since it added a bit of sweet and spicy. I also tried a bite of the on the crab benedict served with a remoulade sauce and it did have a nice kick. The shrimp and grits was also good with cheese, but it had a layer of oil on the top. I look forward to trying it again, and trying other options. The lobster and brie omelet sounds good to me. Even though I mentioned all of the seafood type breakfast options, there is a great amount of veggie and meat breakfast options as well. Make sure to sign up on their website, so you can get coupons. The first coupon is for an order of beignets with a $ 10 purchase.
