Good service, expensive menu, average food. It’s the best for if you don’t want everyday junk food of hamburgers and fries in Clearlake, CA. Service was excellent, food came quickly and was hot and fresh. Taste was average, nothing to say«wow» about and the bill was high for this kind of food and atmosphere.

My favorite restaurant and I am picky. Been going here for over three years, never had a bad meal. Order Green Chicken Curry and Peanut Chicken(not what’s its called but they’ll know what you mean), amazing. Owners and staff are really nice and go out of there way to make you feel at home. I go there at least once a week, would go more if it was closer to my house. Had Thai food at other restaurants and it doesn’t come close to the goodness at this place. Love this place!

This place is a true gem. They have lots and lots of options and are always really fast. Delicious Thai food. I am getting hungry just typing this review! I come to kour thai often. I am not originally from the lake County area but I moved here a few years ago. This is the kind of business that really makes it nice to live here. Friendly, personable, and great business hours. It seems like they are always open.

I can’t believe this place was empty. The appetizer spring rolls was enough to serve eight people easily and were fresh and delicious. The red curry mango chicken and shrimp was exceptional, perfect amount of spice. This was a delicious meal!

When I was visiting Clearlake, I went there with my sister and nephew who live in the area. They love this Thai Restaurant. I ordered pumpkin curry with checken which was so delicious. We were lucky that late afternoon they had live music. We were serenaded by a very good singer, had delicious food and a great view of the lake. All was perfect.

Came with a friend for the first time. I ordered the sashimi tuna and salmon roll. Tuna was not cut very well but when brought to attention was fixed immediately.

Spectacular! Authentic Thai food with a view of the Lake. Got here at 3 pm and hey we’re still open. Had a feast for 7 people. Everything was OUTSTANDING! Best Thai place in Nor Cal I would venture to say. Totally unexpected! Will make this a habit!

Have been here several times, we try to order something different every time we go. We have not been disappointed! The wait for the food is minimal and the staff make you feel like part of the family. They’re open till 9pm, which is late for Clearlake and they have awesome Thai tea

Had the rolls, never though I’d get sushi rolls from a thai place but they were actually delicious(w/out the cream cheese). Really lovely live music. Would come back when if I were in the area again.

The Thai iced tea is great. The Thai fried rice is good, but the pad Thai is not the best. For being Clearlake, it’s nice to have a Thai restaurant to go to… but don’t expect too much.

Just had an extreme craving for some delicious Thai food and found this place. The tea iced tea is very good. The only down side is that I believe the menu should have pictures! Pictures would do their food justice more than a number on the menu. I has some soup with coconut and chicken and mushrooms it was soooo yummy made my mouth literally water when it was brought to our table. The décor is very dark but tasteful. The staff was very nice and attentive.

Over priced for the quality and portions provided. The food is edible, but not really that good.

Short version: Worth trying: the curry(the weekly special — a pumpkin curry) was quite good; the pad thai a little sweet, but well prepared(fresh); the stir-fried vegetables quite good — not too oily or salty. Brown rice — good. Ice tea(unsweetened) refreshing. Place was clean, decorated with simple Thai themes with a pleasant view of the lake. Singha(Thai beer) available. We went late on a Monday night(about 8PM). From the outside, the restaurant is nothing to look at. Simple signage. Unassuming exterior. Inside, I noted the photo of the Thai king and queen, indicating(to me) that the owners were in fact ethnic Thai(vice ethnic Chinese, for example) who retain a strong affinity to native Thailand. Interior decorations reflected simple Thai folk themes. Another sign indicated live music on Wednesdays(not Thai). In the corner, a Thai version of MTV was playing at a low volume. Owner and staff obviously Thai — I did have some trouble communicating that I wanted«unsweet tea», but the staff was more than anxious to please, and with some good humor we worked it all out. Our preference is vegan(I do eat fish), and the staff was more than willing to accommodate, giving us tofu in our curry vice the advertised chicken. I love sushi, and noted the the other comments regarding sushi, so ordered a california roll, two pieces of salmon nigiri sushi, and a rainbow roll. Sushi is not this restaurant’s strong suit. The sushi was okay, but I recommend a focus on the Thai food. The california roll had cream cheese! Not my preference. But I still ate more than my fair share! Bottom line: reasonable ambiance(suitable for a beach restaurant), staff happy to please, decent Thai food, especially the curry and vegetable dishes, Thai beer, Thai tea. If you’re vegetarian, I would recommend this restaurant in a heartbeat, and from that perspective, would happily go again.

I decided to go around my new neighborhood and check out the locals. This restaurant, completely not recommendable. Please spare yourselves. Dirty Plate, Dirty Table: One of our plates had a smudge of food when I haven’t even eaten yet! I accidentally placed my hand under the table and felt something sticky. Yuck! Bad Service: The first waitress was impatient and did not want to be asked about the menu items which I understood why after the hostess was scolding the other waiter while dumping my left over food in a box, at our table, in front of my face. Best of all, the«prawn» on their vegetable spring roll was inserted as an after thought which explained why it was an «additional» choice for that appetizer. Of course, when two of them fell out, I had to request for another, thrice, and all attempts, to no avail. My husband and I were completely ignored. Lastly, please take off the Valentine’s décor and complete your attempt to adorn your restaurant for St. Patrick’s. Some people can’t actually guess what comes after St. even if you use clover leaf foils. Food. I don’t even want to talk about it.

Was recommended this joint — did takeout, pretty salty and blah. Not sure whether to blame the takeout container or the place. Looked cool inside. Id probably give them a second chance but didnt dig it.

Unfortunately this is the only Thai restaurant in the area. If you have a hankering for great Thai I would drove out of county for it. The food just did not taste well at all.
