So sorry to hear of Zeppelin’s closing. It was s favorite go-to for us whenever we were in town & brought many friends as well. So hard to find such a great restaurant with so much personality! It was like a step back into a time with wonderful memories & great food! Your she-crab soup will be missed– good luck Cappy!

We loved this place! They had the best veggie pizza I’ve ever eaten. It was called the Yazgur’s Farm and it was out of this world fresh!!! Totally recommend.

Good Service, the atmosphere was exactly as expected! Good Music. The Chicken Parm with pasta was delicious and very cheesy, the Steak on steak Salad was cooked perfectly, and the Crawfish Dip was good but a little on the spicy side.

The place is a low lit dump with tacky staff and patrons but high prices. 12 to 17 dollar burgers with drive through quality. We should have walked out.

My husband and I dined here once and loved the food. I had a burger which was great and my husband had fish tacos which he also enjoyed. Loved the 70s music. Just a fun place with good food.

We had the best Caesar salad outside Tijuana(birthplace of the Caesar’s), the pizzas are as thin as in Italy, and the hamburgers are superb. The service awesome!

When in the North GA mountains, make time to stop into this classic rock and peace movement themed establishment for a drink and /or some exceptional grub. We’re California transplants and have found Zeppelins to be a refuge from the local excesses of Southern food which makes up about 70% of the local menus. Our faves are the Bison burger, Crawfish Monica(pasta), and their flatbreads and you can’t get better service than with Hillary or Manny.

I have to say I was so disappointed with this little restaurant. It was really cute and the staff were very attentive and nice despite a giant 12 people group that walked in at the same time we did. However, their food is just way too rich and heavy. My husband ordered a new orleans style pasta, we shared a crawfish appetizer and I ordered a salad. The pasta was overwhelmingly rich and loaded with a thick overpowering sauce. The appetizer was also too rich, fatty and heavy. I asked my salad to come with dressing on the side. The lady taking my order advised against this bc she said it would take away from the dish. I held my ground and insisted it come on the side and I am so incredibly glad I did bc I am sure it would have been overwhelming as well. Generous portions, good ambiance. just maybe not our kind of fare. Wish them well.

If you get something other than the cappy stack, you’re making a bad decision. It is the best thing on the menu.

My boyfriend and I were driving through Clayton and decided to stop and eat. It has a very casual ambiance, nice but casual. There’s a full bar in the front and the sit down resturant in the back. The food was good… BUT the price is SOOVERPRICED. I had a small flat bread pizza, The Carlos Santana for $ 20.00 my boyfriend had a 4oz stake for $ 27.00, which was prepared the wrong way. We were 1 of 3 table in the sit down part of the resturant yet still our food took over 40 mins to come! I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re in a rush or on a budget!

Pretty good food for the area but overpriced. We ate here while on vaca and all thought the food was pretty good but was overpriced for a casual dining establishment. I had a bowl of Spaghetti Bolognese(made with linguini) which was $ 17 with no salad. Their online menu shows it at $ 15 which is a bit deceiving on their part. I also expect to get spaghetti, not linguini, when paying $ 17. My wife had a burger which was, well a burger. My daughter had the Buck Creek salad, which had great flavor and my son had the Rasta Pasta which he proclaimed to be excellent.

I have eaten here many times and it has gone downhill. The owner was rude to us the last time we were in and that was unpleasant. The pizza can be good, depending on who is in the kitchen. However, I have decided not to eat here anymore because for these prices, I could eat across the street where the food is better and the staff is always very friendly. It’s too bad that Zeppelin’s is managed so poorly.

My husband and I have visited the Clayton/Tiger area many times and typically eat out a couple of meals. This week was the first time we’ve eaten at Zeppelin’s. It’s by far our favorite. In fact, we ate there twice this week. The food is delicious and the staff is friendly and accomodating. The first night, my husband was blown away by the lobster chowder and steak salad. My filet in a balsamic reduction was cooked perfectly and was very tender. The creamy mashed potatoes, and stir-fry zucchini were delicious. Tonight we each had a cup of French onion soup and shared a Greek salad and Cheech and Chong flatbread pizza. Every bite was yummy! We’ll be back to Clayton and will be eating at Zeppelin’s.

Love Cappy & her food was AMAZING! We had hummus, pesto, & olive tampanade & tomato soup & delectable Ceasar Salad to start. We ordered Crab cakes(special), Almond Pesto Chicken Pesto, Chicken Picatta, Hand Cut Filet with mashed potatoes & stir fried zucchini & carrots. Loved the Chef, the ambiance and the service. We can not wait to come back!!!

This place is one of the best restaurants EVER. Why they haven’t been on the Food Network or Travel Channel, I just don’t know. Everything on the menu is great, but what TRULY shines are the daily specials. They will also attempt to cater to any special requests for menu items – say, you had some brussels sprouts here once that were AMAZING(as a daily special)…and you ask them to make them for you… if they can, they will. Fantastic bar service — best damn Old Fashioned this side of the Mississip. If you’re anywhere near Clayton, GA, you simply MUST make a trip for this gem.
