The most pleasant patio! Vine covered trellises surround happy colored tablecloths with fresh flowers on each table. The Turkey Slaw and Pimento Cheese sandwiches were delicious. We had to resist the coconut cake and carrot cake that other patrons were raving about. The staff is friendly.

Had lunch here today in Clayton. A nice little restaurant. We started with hummus and pita points, then shared the special of the day-tomato basil quiche with a side salad. They do not have fountain drinks, so we had two bottles of Diet Coke. My wife got a scone for dessert. It was reasonably priced at $ 20.00.

Great place for lunch. The food is always fresh and tastes great. Sophia loves their hummus. I like their salads. Everything is home made. You order your food at the counter and they serve it to your table. The owner is a very nice woman. When we were leaving, she asked us if we wanted to-go cups for our teas, which was really thoughtful. It is obvious that she takes pride in her business. 0n warmer days, there is an outdoor seating area in a pleasant patio. This is one of those restaurants that just smells good inside. Makes you want to linger a while and take it all in. The large number of repeat customers says it all. Grapes and Beans is a winner!

We stopped here in our way thru town. The black bean & sweet potato soup was awesome. I also has the gyro and a small side salad. Both were absolutely delicious! The feta dressing was yummy!!! My mom had the hotdog on pita and she says it was great!

You have to go. It’s small, so it doesn’t get a ton of traffic, which makes it more interesting and better for locals. We had a blast there last new year’s eve, they had a guest chef who rocked. Nice wine selection.

Great service, great food! Could have stayed all day, the coffee is wonderful. And I’m still writing cause Unilocal says it needs to be longer. .. .

A sandwich and salad shop with great espresso. We enjoyed the Greek chicken wrap and turkey slaw sandwich at lunch and had espresso afterwards. Everything was good; although, the portions were not generous — excepting the espresso. Service as excellent. There is a small selection of wines by the bottle to carry out.

What a jewel of a find! While staying in the mountains we happened upon Grapes & Beans when we went into town … wonderful food! We each had a vegan wrap made with portobello mushrooms & a sauce that was outrageously good! I would recommend giving it a try to anyone looking for a nice lunch.

A cute little bohemian restaurant. Everything is mismatched, which some people find tacky, I think it worked in this setting. I enjoyed the food. I ordered a gyro, and it was pretty darn good for a little café. They even made a grilled cheese for my 11 month old, which was not on the menu. Many things to choose from, took me a while to make up my mind!

Here for work. Always passed by this place and wanted to try-today I did! So cute and cozy, right on the square! I ordered the southwest chicken salad and a iced chai latte-no complaints on either. I’ll be back again!

If you are looking for great food, a great setting, and great prices, this is your place. You can’t really go wrong here, both whether you want to sit outside or inside. My personal favorite is the veggie sandwich with hummus and pita, but my friends like other options that are also delectable. I make sure to eat here every summer when I pass through Clayton.

Day old pastry, funky décor, you make the trip and decide for yourself. On this one I call, different strokes for different folks. Won’t be back.

Do not pass this up. The food is fresh and delicious. I ordered a gyro and sampled my sons grilled cheese as well. The pita was soft and warm. The gyro was as good as any Greek place. I also got a dirty chai(or black eyed chai as they called it) to go and my husband got an espresso. The coffee is superb. Do it. I’m serious. You won’t regret it. P. S. My family of 5 ate for around $ 30(w/o coffees and with water to drink). Kids meals are $ 4.

Love this place! Creative menu with healthy, seasonal foods and vegetarian options. Great staff. They also support local farmers as much as possible which I appreciate. A visit to Clayton isn’t complete without lunch at G&B.

I figured there’d be at least 2 or 3 other places around here for Coffee, which I walked around for a little bit trying to find, but stumbled upon this place. I was happy with it though. I had the Dancing Goat coffee, which took care of my coffee craving. The shop was a cool little low key place, friendly service, very reasonable prices, and lots of baked goods/sweets. Will have to visit it again, if I ever find myself in Clayton.

My favorite Clayton coffee place/eatery. Really tasty vegetarian fare, with choices for the omnivores as well. Locally baked sweets are up at the counter; wines line the walls. Lovely patio for outdoor eating. The coffee is decent. Not my favorite roaster, but that’s okay. When you go there, you place your order at the counter, then find a seat and the server brings your food to you. It’s always fun to see what the person at the counter has put on your ticket/check to help the server find you at your table. We’ve gotten«silver beard; flowered shirt», «M=blue stripes W=black», «solo W yellow bag», etc. Semi-regularly stocked with BookCrossing books, so if there’s one there, and it interests you, take it home, read it, then pass it on.
