Tucked in the shopping center next to Noble fish is a new/used book store. The deal is you can bring in your old, or new paperbacks and they will give you a tally card, you can then get that many paperbacks at a discounted price. I had a stack of older paperbacks that I took in, and the nice lady behind the counter told me how everything worked. She took my books and let me know how many were considered«new» and how many were considered«general.» You get new books at the discounted price if you bring in new paperbacks, and so it goes for the general selection as well. She then told me where to find the books similar to what I brought in. They have mostly romance novels — this is the type of used bookstore my mom and grandma would love. But surprisingly, they also had a good selection of mysteries, cook books, chick lit, and book club type fiction and non. I was amazed that there were other shoppers while I was there, and two of them were male! I tend to collect books. I get them from the bookstore, or from other used books stores, so its great that there is a place to take all my paperbacks and get a good deal out of it too! One thing though — its cash only!
