Hunter & Hosea DDS

The first time I saw Dr. Hunter was about 7 – 8 years ago, when I had to get a wisdom tooth pulled. It had broken apart and my mouth was feeling angry. I knew if I didn’t get it, even without dental insurance at the time, my mouth would soon be sore as hell.
I knew of this dentist because a family friend is an Assistant there and I wasn’t about to return to my previous dentist (in Berkley) because I thought she was a snotty bitch.
So…broken tooth and all, Dr. Hunter came in, shot me a few times in the mouth (none of which I felt) and out came the tooth. He took out the top widom tooth also. Done in 15 minutes. Swollen but in zero pain.
Removal of booth teeth? Under $ 200. Worth it.
Now…I am a regular. I actually look forward to my cleanings because Eve, the hygenist, is amazing and really gets my teeth sparkling. She always has great recommendations for products to use and suggestions to keep my mouth looking and feeling great. And she doesn’t recoil in stain-​shock from my excessive coffee drinking and smoking.
I have seen not only Dr. Hunter but also his partner, Dr. Hosea. Dr. Hosea is amazing as well. Bubbly, helpful and pays close attention to the details.
The assistants and office staff are great and so easy to work with and they have late day hours, so it’s easy to get an appointment.
I cannot sing their praises enough and recommendation is an understatement. If you’re looking for a new dentist and/​or hygenist, this is the place you want to go!
