Scam-​artists. I bought an item for $ 50 at GOB, but first I asked if I could return it if necessary (since it was a gift) — and was told that absolutely I could. I ended up having to return the item the VERY NEXT DAY, and was told they don’t accept returns, only exchanges. They called and owner, explained that I was told I could return the item etc., and the owner didn’t care whatsoever.
In addition to that, their prices are very high. Most of their items you can get for about ½ or 2⁄3 the price on Amazon.

The new iteration of GOB is nice. I like the amount of room available to walk around and peruse the games, periodicals, etc. I thought on a few of the vintage items the price was a touch high compared to some of the online options but if you want it right now chances are GOB will have it for you and you can have it immediately. They haven’t quite finished setting the place up entirely but the new gaming room is much bigger and I think those that come here to game will be pleasantly surprised. I was surprised that they’re only open til 9 p.m. on Saturday which seemed to me to be early but that’s their choice, I guess. A very nice expansion of the store and I’ll be back to check it out again when everything is finished.

I have shopped here for years but I will not shop here again. They have a decent selection of games but they are all overpriced. You can find games at this store for $ 100 and buy the same game online for $ 50. I realize they need to make money but their prices are insane! Also on my latest visit I purchased a game and realized that a friend of mine already had the game. I took the game back to the store for a refund less than 14 hours after I had purchased it. The game was still in the shrink wrap and all they would do is give me a store credit. There is NOTHING in their store that says no refunds. I will never be back and I encourage everyone to save their money and either buy online or shop at another game store.
