O’Charley’s Restaurant & Bar

O’Charley! Thursday evening and here we sit. As we walked in, we noticed the restaurant was not too busy. Noise level was lower than a lot of other places. We were sitted right away and unfortunately, we were behind a table full of kids. At least my back was to them. Yes, they were a little loud with kicking and two to three tablets playing different kiddie movies with the volume on high. Yikes! Could have used headsets for each of the kids. Yes, I like kids and it takes a lot to annoy me and this was almost getting there. Did I digress again? OK, thankfully, they were gone a little after we sat.
Our server came right away to take our drink order and as if a lightening struck, she was back with the drinks. I ordered the Prime Rib pasta and my friend ordered a Rib eye steak. Another lightening and our food came out. My friend stated his steak was really good and my pasta was very good also. The pasta was cooked al dante, just the way I like it.
Now, all this took place from 6:40 PM to 7:08 PM. I don’t ever recall sitting down and leaving that quick for a dinner. Must be a record!
I’ve read some of the negative reviews as they only had two and half rating. The complaints were how dirty it was, slow service and the coming out veeeeeery slooooooooow! As you can read above, we found the restaurant to be very clean, excellent service and fast delivery of our food. Did I mention we were in and out in less than 40 minutes?
Without a doubt I will go back.

We arrived on a Saturday about 1:30 was not busy. Our food took close to 30 minutes to come out. Our server was great and kept checking on us and topping off our drinks. Food was much better than the last time we went about 6 months ago.

Waited over 30 minutes just for an appitizer. Still waiting 50 minutes later for my food. Will never come back!!#

The look and environment of this place was nice. It is your typical O’Charley’s type food and it was on par with the rest I have been too. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either. I don’t usually complain about service but it did take an hour to get our food which was too long since we were there early before the brunch crowd on a Sunday.

Every time I come here the service always takes forever. The food is always cold, however this time I had a salad and it was hot and soggy, maybe they are confused on how food should be prepared. I had to send back two dishes in one visit, what does that tell you. Overall I have terrible food experiences and regret always coming back. Would not recommend coming to this location. The one star is only for the free wifi

First time here with my spouse and I loved it. My waitress was awesome! (Though I forgot her name) I ordered the Bayou Shrimp Pasta, which I made a trio so it came with either a salad or soup and a slice of pie. I got O’Charley’s Loaded Potatoe Soup –very cheesy, just the way I like it. The pasta was very delicious! Wish it had more shrimp :-(and if only the peppers and onions were sliced a bit thinner and smaller. And the Pecan Pie? She gave me two slices in my to-​go box :-D The only thing problems I had was the order in which everything came out and some of the waitresses. For example, my porch punch came out first even though I ordered it with our meals and my spouse had ordered his beer in the beginning. Our bread and butter even came late. The waitresses also seemed a bit confused. The table next to us had two waitresses trying to get the patron’s drinks orders. On the plus side, my spouse loved his Sirloin with his mashed potatoes and broccoli, which is surprising since he hardly likes anything grilled at most restaurants.

I have been here twice in the last week and each time gotten the Louisiana Sirloin. It was delicious! I also got the homemade strawberry lemonade, which was amazing. So far, not disappointed.

I’m not a fan of this place but my wife drags me too it all the time. We went last night and as always, it sucked.
From the first time I saw my waiter to the next time I had forgotten what she looked like and what I was waiting for. She comepl tell forgot my soup and when she brought our food my sons plate had a dead fly on it. I almost died of thirst because refills just weren’t happening. I forgot to mention the place was not busy at all!
As for taste it was alright. I ordered the steak and ribs combo. The ribs had ok flavor but we’re cold. The steak was cooked just right, no complaints.
I have vowed never to go there again. My wife is finally on board!

I have been to this O’Charley’s twice and both times the service was pretty good and the food was AMAZING! On the first visit I ordered the cedar-​planked salmon with broccoli and a baked potato as my sides. They were all the bomb digity! The second visit I ordered a chicken pot pie with grilled asparagus as my side. They were THE BEST I’ve ever had. Like its two days later and I’m still waking up thinking about that pot pie. The crust was so buttery and flakey, it was perfect! Both times I went I took a piece of pecan pie to go, the best pecan pie on the planet. & I ordered a watermelon cooler, it’s a yummy little drink & pretty awesomely priced. $ 5.99 isn’t bad at all. They were also running a sangria $ 4.99 special on my second visit. Overall I would say that O’Charley’s may be my new favorite restaurant! Cheddar’s better watch out lol.

I rate this strictly based on the cleanliness. The dirtiest and smelliest restaurant i ever eaten at. I truely believe they have black mold growing in the carpet.

A great little place to stop in in Tennessee.
I came here a few times and the loaded potato soup was possibly one of the best loaded potato soups that I had gotten. I also ordered a steak and it was delicious too.
The service was ok, nothing too spectacular and from what I gathered, the employees there really don’t like there job. They are nice, but there is this certain attitude that tells you that something is wrong with the place. Every time I have tried again for a better day with the employees, it has been a failed attempt. Will try again when I am back in TN though.

Have eaten there several times and while the food is good to real good for a chain restaurant not spectacular, I have always been made to feel at home there. I have eaten there when I was the only customer and when there was an hour wait at the door and the wait staff was going crazy, they always treated me like they were glad I came and wanted me back. The one time I got bad service it was bad! and the rest of the staff went so far out of their way to make up for it and help the new waitress make up for the problems, that I wound up leaving a 75% tip, the manager thanked me for my patience and comped the meal. For a good meal, good service and a welcoming attitude I can only say that it is a good place to go.

It was decent, nothin too special. It felt like a alt applebees. I liked the place it just felt 3 star rated when i was there a place to take a friend or eat with family. The prices was pretty goos, I just didnt get that ‘wow i have to come back here next week feelin’

I went her last weekend. It was my first time going. And omg I was soo impressed. The staff was great, friendly, fast. My drink was never empty and the rolls was hot and fresh. It was very clean and just an overall great experience. I can’t wait to go here again.

They just can’t seem to get it right. The last 4 years this O’Charley’s has really gone down hill. 9 times out of 10 they screw up the rolls, the food especially the chicken just doesn’t get cooked correctly and doesn’t taste as good as the one on riverside dr. If your really wanting O’Charley’s take the extra minutes to drive to riverside

This is another shockingly dirty restaurant. I don’t know where standards have gone these days but I just can’t get over the filth. Server was super nice but I don’t know if I trust their kitchen judging by the filthy dining room and bathrooms. Food was mediocre at best.

I never updated my review of this place. The last time I went in it went from bad to horrible. Hands down the most filthy restaurant I had ever been in and service was terrible. The management staff there really needs to be examined.

Favorite restaurant in Clarksville. Literally everything is delicious. My favorites are the Wild West burger or steak. Service is always fast and friendly.

We have eaten here many times. Good food and good service. Not outstanding but good and tasty.

No idea why this only has 2.5 stars?! The restaurant is like a slightly classier Bennigans without the flair. The menu is robust, the service outstanding. Our waiter was Mark (bar area) and he was congenial and attentive. Drinks were delicious and fast. I ordered the medium 6oz filet and FINALLY it was cooked to perfection. They had raw horseradish for my steak which is an A+. Mark made sure I cut into my steak before he left, which is an added touch. Broccoli was crisp and fresh, the baked potato soup was yummy and hot. My husband ordered the ribs, which were cooked well, though he ranked 4 out of 5. Definitely get the coronarita and/​or the Long Island. Perfectly blended. Best medium-​priced place in Clarksville so far.

Umm… Two for one drafts and half price appetizers at all times?! Winning!!!
Not a happening spot to party but a cool place to pre-​game.
