I’ve been to several Korean Markets here in town and this one will be the only one I’ll ever go to again & again. First off, the owner & staff are super friendly and helpful. They always offer my son a yogurt drink once we enter the store and whatever we’re looking for, they help. The owner has also given me suggestions on soup recipes. The prices are reasonable as well. :)

Huge selection and super helpful. I don’t know much about Korean food except that it’s delicious, and a gentleman there very patiently explained certain items without English labels for me. Walked away with some frozen eel and two ready made packages of spicy squid and sweet and salty fried sardines. Yum!

I came here yesterday for the first time and I liked it! I had been looking for a Korean based mart and saw this one online a while back. So, I was glad when I finally got to go inside the other day. I did accidentally drive past it, but now I know for future visits. As you might read in the other reviews, yes it is a small cozy shop, but at least you won’t get lost inside… I like it.

Definitely a small Korean Ma & Pa store full and by full, I mean FULL of what nots, this, that, and the other and then a section for dry, refrigerated, and frozen food. If you’re looking for any type of produce or fresh produce like Korean melon or cabbage. You’re probably best to go somewhere else because it’s not on display. The owners are very nice and helpful. If you don’t look Korean and you have questions they probably won’t guide you to the most quality of Korean products so do research. Fortunately, I know my stuff(I’m happa) and denied having accepted unready kkakdugi. However, they were honest, respectful and full of suggestions which I appreciated. The nice Korean here makes her own kimchi and puts them in mason jars. The kimchi was pretty good and the fish cakes were decent too. Heavy variety of frozen goods and bulgogi/Kalbi meat. If you’re going for the kimchi, make sure you ask for the sour if you’re like me and you don’t want to ferment your own kimchi…

This place is wonderful. They have a great variety of delicious foods. The owners are very friendly and attentive to customers. They share recipe ideas with me when I go. I wish I lived closer. This is the best market in town.

Nice to know there’s more than one Asian market in Clarksville, and most of them seem to focus on the Korean stuff, which is fine by me. I wanted to pick up just a few items and I went to the the two places that were on my way home and the other spot was smaller, the prices slightly higher and service was less than attentive. New Koa is larger, a better value and within minutes of me walking in a gentleman came to ask if I needed help with anything. I came away with a sriracha, sesame oil, a small jar of kimchi and since I was hungry got a tray of gimbap and a pomegranate flavored aloe juice for twenty bucks and some change, not a bad haul. I wandered around a little bit and on top of the food items there’s also a section of mostly Korean flatware and even clothing. This will be where my Asian shopping needs will be met when I am in need.
