It was just okay. I ordered the cashew chicken; I have definitely had better.
It was a large lunch portion, though; and it was only $ 5 and change. I just wished it tasted better

I reside in CA and I called in for food delivery for a friend who resides in Clarksville healing from a major surgery. Calling in for food delivery was super easy. Great customer service and I loved the options on the menu. I highly recommend this place to locals or anyone else calling in from afar!

You know what is frustrating about Clarksville? The reviews on restaurants. 3 places I’ve tried in the last 2 weeks have had great reviews on Unilocal.This place was no different. I ordered Shrimp chow mein, Shrimp Lo mein, sesame chicken and cheese wontons. Let’s start with the positives. The food was hot, service quick and the food had a ton of shrimp. Now for the negatives. The chow mein was pretty standard. I ordered with white rice because I don’t enjoy the yellow rice being passed off as fried rice. The flavor of the chow mein was good. Veggies and shrimp, pretty basic. The lo mein was edible. Nothing but shrimp and noodles. Nothing else. To include flavor. The sesame chicken was edible also, pretty standard. The cheese wontons were freezer burned and burnt in the fryer. That baffled me. Why make them so far in advance that they get freezer burned? I had high hopes for this place because of the reviews. Looks like I’m still on the hunt for good Chinese food.

They are always very friendly. I love the food it always been good! I haven’t had anything here I didn’t like a few of my favorites are the house special lo mein, spicy peanut butter wontons, chicken and broccoli plus the crab rangoons are always on point!

One of the best beef lo Mein’s I’ve ever had and that is my go-​to Chinese dish! Fast delivery, food is always hot and fresh. Best hot and sour soup I have found in Clarksville as well! Only Chinese place I order from in this town. My fiancé loves their Gen Tso’s and we always seem to get crab Rangoon too!

We had food delivered from this restaurant a couple of nights ago. It was the BEST Mongolian Beef I had ever had. The egg rolls were amazing. My man got Cashew Chicken and he went on and on. We love to explore new restaurants but as far as Chinese food is concerned we will be loyal to this restaurant.

First off– oh my gosh SO MUCH FOOD! Hubby came home with the order and said here feel how heavy this bag is (two entrees, low mien, and egg drop soup). I can say, the bag probably weighed more than my 3 year old. Every single thing we ordered was awesome. Hubby is a self appointed Chinese food connoisseur and he raved about it all. He ordered the sesame chicken. It was really good and a tad spicy but not too much that I couldn’t sneak a few bites. I got the Honey Chicken and ate way too much of it. Sooo good. The pork lo mien was great too. I wasn’t a huge fan of the egg drop soup (wasn’t bad so I still ate some) but my husband loved it. We got a free order of Cheese Ragoon for ordering over $ 20 of food. Those were like desert, very sweet and yummy. All the sides were great too (fried rice and egg rolls). We’ll definitely be going back soon!

Delivery was VERY long. I called back after waiting over an hour plus, and was then told they were short a driver. Awesome, I would of picked up. Delivery guy was very nice. Food was not crispy but mushy. Fried rice is bright yellow, and not Fried Rice. Onions in it were very Under-​cooked. Little meat for a house fried rice. Spare ribs lacked any flavor. Shrimp Lo-​mein was good, but shrimp was mushy. Chicken wings and fried shrimp are pre-​packaged frozen and not battered in house. No hot mustard or authentic duck sauce. Eggrolls were said to have meat in them. All of them had only cabbage. Blah. Sweet sour sauce for chicken was good. Best thing in order. Will not return.
Cannot believe people think this «Chinese» food is great. No beef teriyaki, real subgum fried rice, loaded egg rolls, or authentic Chinese chicken wings. VERY Disappointed.

I am from Chicago and I guess my tastes are different from the way people in clarksville like their food. I ordered mongolian beef and chicken fried rice. My complaint is that there was something sweet in the food. I like spicy and hot and in Chicago that’s what you get in mongolian beef. I will try a «spicy» beef wirh green peppers and onion next time.

Delivery service is awful. The food is good, but they always leave something off my order. Correction: Always LEFT something off my order. Will be taking my business elsewhere now.

Very good food. My family ordered, orange chicken, Tso’s chicken, sweet sour chicken, honey chicken and Mongolian chicken. All meals were excellent. Large portions. Quick service.
Only reason not a 5 star is that it is really a take out location. Atmosphere more for an informal lunch than dinner.

Huge portions. Enough food for two people on a single order. Food was delicious. I had beef with mixed vegetables, and hot & sour soup. Both were some of the best I’ve ever had. Friendly and fast service too.

Decent food and fast, friendly service. Most Chinese food in Clarksville is terrible, but we really enjoyed this place. Closest thing to Panda Express’ orange chicken without the hour drive.
If you’re looking for upscale, go to Nashville; if you’re looking for some fast, affordable, tasty and close you might like this place!

Friendly people, hot food, affordable price. Don’t forget the coupons on the bottom of their menu. We didn’t even know about that until the cashier told us that.

Spent the night in Clarksville while traveling for the holidays. Ordered delivery to our hotel. Fast, hot and delicious. We now deliberately spend the night in Clarksville when driving to Atlanta, just so we can count on some good Chinese food from New King Mao.

We have gotten delivery from here before and we really enjoyed it. Tonight I tried to order delivery again, seeing how they offer that, and the man I spoke with told me that it was too far away. I map quested the driving distance while on the phone and we are 11 minutes away. He told me that was too far and asked how much I would be ordering since that was far away. I was a little offended by this and asked if I should go somewhere else and he wasn’t concerned at all with keeping me as a customer, which I think is super important when running a business. The last time we had delivery the driver didn’t have change and recieved nearly a 10 $ tip. I’m not sure what kind of business they are…

Not the best chinese food we have ever had BUT for sure one of the best in Clarksville! They are always very nice when we pick up take out. They have never gotten the order wrong (which we always appreciate). The beef and broccoli is fantastic! AND they deliver!

Best Chinese I’ve had in Clarksville and anywhere in the South outside of ATL.
If you walk in, you may be off-​put by the venue itself but don’t worry about that too much. The food quality is excellent and I imagine you will carry out anyway; I’ve never seen anybody stay and eat there, although there are tables.
I’ve never done the delivery nor seen anywhere on paper that they deliver but I’m pretty sure they do.

Still the best in town. Both locations are excellent!
