I failed to research the value of a vehicle and overpaid here by almost $ 2k. If you haggle, I guess it’s the same as any dealership. But don’t go in there hoping for a fair price up front.

Car lots have notorious reputations of being shady and untrustworthy. This business is no different. This is a long story, but bare with me, My mother purchased a 2004 Thunderbird from this dealership earlier this year. The sales manager told her the vehicle was a Pacfic coast edition, a rare model in which only 2,000 were made. They talked this car up until she paid over $ 20,000, roughly the going rate of Pacific coast editions online. After owning this car for awhile, she decided to sell, so we posted the car online through several online retailers. We received several messages stating that the car listed was not a pacific coast edition, but rather just a normal Thunderbird, reducing its second hand value roughly 40%. We went back to the dealership, hoping for them to make this situation right but after being tossed around for over a month, I’ve finally given up. Long story short, she was told she was receiving a model car that she was not delivered on, and the dealership has no desire to make the situation right.

My husband and I have been looking to buy a new car for several weeks– the used car market is slim pickins right now(due to the economy and such), so we decided to try our hand at buying something new. The people here really tried to make my experience as friendly and easy as possible. My first trip wasn’t so hot– but they made up for it my second time. Kevin B. was one of the nicest car salespeople I have ever met. He didn’t try to talk me into something I couldn’t afford and he listened to the 200 questions I had. He really went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our purchase. So far, we are :) After visiting every car dealership in at least a 60 mile radius, we are happy that we ended up here. Another thing that I really liked was that they sent a hostess out to find out if we needed help instead of 300 salespeople swarming us. Small things like that make a big difference to me.
