Donnies is a cafeteria style southern cooking restaurant. You get one choice of meat and 2 sides and a dinner roll or corn bread and a drink for $ 6. It is a pretty good deal for what they serve. Portions are generous and the food is definitely better if you eat it there rather than eating it 15−30mins after u bring it back home or work. They have different items on the menu throughout the week so you can either pick up one of their weekly menu or call them to see what they are serving ahead of time. Seems like they have changed owners but it seems like nothing much has changed. I guess thats not a good thing or a bad thing.

Very good for what it it. Cafeteria style with decent choices. Best on menu is the veggies and mac and cheese. There are meats and fish to choose from. The fish was best for me. Chicken was good. My only problem was they only accept cash but there is an atm for use. If you want a quick simple meal this is the place.
