Chase Pest Control

This company ended up being a major let down. The two who run the company (Sarah and Rick I believe) answered my desperate call about discovering carpenter ants the Friday of Memorial Weekend and came during the afternoon the next day as promised.
They were comforting, knowledgeable, quick, and friendly. While spraying the bug killer, they explained to us about the ants, their life cycle, and why what/​where they were spraying would work to kill them. They even mentioned that what they were spraying would help kill other insects including Mosquitos.
They provided us with a 3 month guarantee that this treatment would work and if we discovered any more ants within that timeframe, they would come out and spray again free of charge. Well, two weeks ago today we discovered a huge group of carpenter ants eating the house. I tried to get ahold of the company that whole weekend. I talked to Rick on Friday and I was told he would call me Saturday morning. I waited until about 3 and gave him another call back. This time Sarah answered, apologized for my unreturned call, and said I would receive a call back within the next few hours. I did not receive a call until Monday afternoon. During this phone call, we arranged for them to come out between 5−6pm on Wednesday to spray. They did not arrive during this timeframe and we were not notified until 7 that they were unable to come out due to the rain earlier in the day (they said the chemicals would not stick). I had wish that we had gotten this call sooner but assumed and understood that they were probably calling other clients as well.
Next, we arrange for them to come at 6 on the Friday (2 days later). Again, we waited around for them until after 7 before we were given another call that they were unable to come again due to the rain. Okay, this time, there was no rain. I don’t work very close to home but my boyfriend works about a mile from our house and said it did not rain and there was no indication that there was rain. But still, I trusted these people and we arrange for them to come between 1 and 3 in the afternoon the following day (Saturday).We waited at the house ALL day for them to come and the sun was shining the entire time. NO RAIN, NO PHONE CALL and we were stuck, yet again, waiting for these experts (?) that we trusted to provide us with a promised service.
I waited all week for a call and an explanation and received nothing. If you don’t want to honor your contact and promise that’s fine but at least have the decency to say something and stop wasting our time. I doubt I would have even written this review if they were just honest with us about not wanting for honor the 3 month guarantee.
Based off of my first experience with this company, I would have easily given 4 – 5 stars but now, I wish I could give no stars. We trusted you and were let down. The initial service you provided didn’t work and you did not follow through on the 3 month guarantee that you were raving about.
When Rick and Sarah were leaving the ONLY time they came to take care of the ants, Rick asked us to review the company on Unilocal.They were competing against big commercial companies (who ultimately came out and fixed the problem) and they needed some help getting customers to go with Chase instead.
Well, here’s your review. You earned it.

We had a problem with underground bees! They were in the ground in quite a few areas along our gardens. Also began to nest near the foundation of our home (turned out they were getting into the walls!). Chase Pest Control provided excellent service. They were well educated on bees ~ identified that they were Underground Yellow Jackets. Treated the areas, no more bees! Very reasonably priced, I would definitely use this company again in the future for pest control.
