Brockett Pub House & Grill

Oh my gosh what had I been doing with my life?! I live literally 5 mins away and every day I drive past it but never stop. So one day while on Unilocal i decided I wanted burger so I searched for a location near my house. Surprise surprise Brockett Pub showed up. I click and read the reviews and the next day my friends and I gathered for brunch. At the end of the meal we were all full and absolutely satisfied. Our waitress was pretty nice but I didn’t catch her name. She made sure we were comfortable and we felt she was very genuine about it unlike other restaurants.
Over all I am excited to have such a nice place that is so close to my house that I can easily drive out too. Can’t wait to take my parents back for lunch or dinner. They never been to a pub so this should be interesting.

Went here for the first time last night. Amazing food. The wings are awesome. Superb beer selection. Totally worth a trip on MARTA to get there. Oh yeah, and I was amazed at how many people the staff knew by name and took time to stop and say hello to.

Stopped by here, around 9:30 on rainy Friday night, on way to the airport with my family. It looks alittle rugged from the outside, but I must say I am SO happy we stopped here!!! Great waitress April, just made it all the better! We had some beers, and she brought us a sample of another to try. Food was SO surprisingly good! Braised beef grilled cheese, awesome, Rueben awesome! I was told the wings and salad were also great by my kids. We tried the fried brussel sprouts and although I dont usually like them they were soo good I had half the basket. I would and already have recommended this place to friends who live closer by.

The hard part about writing this review is not to repeat what others have already stated, i.e. hidden gem, fantastic food, great staff, can’t believe I’ve not been before (when I’ve driven by many times), etc.
My friends (who come here often) & I had drinks and food. The tuna melt with fries is amazingly great. The lemon pepper wings are perhaps the best in Atlanta (dry rub type).
A bit of a dive atmosphere-​wise; however, the place easily deserves 4.5 stars. Since this is my first time I will dispense with 4 (I doubt this will hurt them). I expect to upgrade my review to 5 stars soon (with future /​repeat visits). This could easily become one of my new hangouts.

Wow! If you haven’t been here yet and are considering whether or not you should, I can say go! Go now! The service was great. Excellent, friendly and attentive servers. The food was great! I had a Greek salad and quesadilla with grilled chicken, corn, avacado and onion. Everything was clearly fresh and house made. Absolutely delicious. I am not in the area much, but I will find a reason to come back here.

The Food and service here are outstanding. Pub /​comfort food here with some gourmet edges and it’s done very well. Had the Reuben and fried pickle chips and both were the best I’ve ever had. I lived in NYC for a while, so that’s saying something on the Reuben. I was so impressed with my main course I got the smore’s pot de crème dessert, and honestly didn’t think it was great. But the other dishes were strong enough to keep the 5 star rating for me. Ambience is very comfortable. Bar with Tvs etc., nothing fancy. Service is very friendly and welcoming as others have pointed out. I’ll be back!

I’m having lunch with my son and he selected this restaurant. From the outside, it looked shaky. But I had their Cobb salad with field greens and balsamic dressing which was fantastic. Matthew had the spicy chicken sandwich which he thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you, Alex, for your great service and cheerful attitude and service!

Great overall experience at this place. The bartenders were extremely pleasant. I knew it was a great place when the bartender asked my name and introduced herself and her colleague to me. They referred to me by name for the rest of the night. Its the little things such as this that I love.
The food was great, i was offered a taste of the Red Brick Stout that was on tap and it was great. i ordered based on review recommendations: the shrimp tacos and the lemon pepper wings. Absurdly great, thats right, absurdly.
The tacos were fresh, and the tortillas are grilled with gave a good flavor. The shrimp was made in house, and the slaw was just acidic enough to cut the sweetness of the sauce and the shrimp.
The wings were good, fried to perfection and fairly meaty. The sauce was outstanding, at one point I caught myself dipping the celery in it wondering «what do they make this with?» Really good and unique.
Give this place a go. Sit at the bar with Matt and Christina and they will take care of you.

I love this place! Home away from home. Food is fantastic and the staff is amazing. Sara is the greatest! The owners are the kindest and also most hard working people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. This place is 100% a hidden gem. I work in the industry and refer my regulars here constantly. Try one of John’s cheesecakes, or actually any of the desserts they make– you will seriously not know how you have lived this long without them in your life.

In town visiting from Chicago. Climbed Stone Mountain which created an appetite. By the way, what a beautiful view from the top! Searched Unilocal for great reviews and a place open on Mondays. Great service, neighborhood friendly environment, good selection of adult beverages, waitress was extremely nice and attentive.

This was our second time at BPH and it didn’t dissapoint! I had the Saturday special — open face turkey sandwich with their homemade gravy served with cranberry relish and green beans.
my dining partner had the spicy chicken sandwich with house salad with peanut vinaigrette dressing. It was spicy and good — topped with spy slaw — fried jalapeños — fried green peppers and a spicy chili mayo. We are super full so we had to take the pumpkin cheesecake home…

Because of our Sunday laziness my mom and I decided to place a pick-​up order from here. My mom and bro have frequented this place many times and assured me the food is delicious. It was my first time and I was sooooooooo excited to try the braised beef muenster melt and sooooooooooooo disappointed to learn they no longer make it. (Double sad face!!) However, my Greek quesadilla was still delicious. I loved it! And my mom’s salad looked tasty as well. Will be going back, this is a good and affordable lunch option.

I’ve lived a few minutes away for years and never gave it a second thought. One day I decided to try it. I love this place. Good food, good people, good vibes. We did order to go, but i liked the 5 minutes of the atmosphere I tasted. Some of the best fried pickles around. She had the philly, it was pretty good. I had the chicken salad. No complaints at all. Would def come back!

Dined here last night with my husband. Turned out, Thursday is their trivia night so we lucked out on two fronts!
We ordered 20 wings, and the Brockett Pub fries. The ‘Brockett’s Sweet & Spicy Signature Sauce,’ is now my favorite wing sauce. Enough can’t be said about those wings. They took a while to come out, but when they did, the first thing we noticed was the crispy crowns on top of the drummies; you know, the good crunchy bits on top of wings when they’re cooked right? Lord, lord those were some amazing wings! The house fries were terrific as well. We both thought they could put some bacon on the fries, which contained house-​made delicious blue cheese dressing, blue cheese crumbles, garlic, and tomatoes. Honestly, in this world, what isn’t improved with bacon? Really terrific brews on draft as well, with great prices on pitchers.
Anyways, a very deserving 5 stars all the way. Food is outstanding, «am I in a bar right now?» quality. The server, Sarah, was just so super friendly and helpful. We were greeted within seconds, and she made sure we always had what we needed, but without being one of those annoying ‘helicopter,’ type servers, you know the ones…
Why are you still sitting there? You KNOW you want to go and try out this place! You NEED to go and try out this place!

I love love love Brockett Pub. At first glance this place is definitely a spot you wouldn’t notice or think would be a decent place to eat. When you walk into this establishment there is nothing fancy about it but perfect for watching the game with plenty of TVs, tables, and a large bar. In the back there is a pool table. You seat yourself and a waiter comes over immediately to greet you.
Customer service is excellent. The entire staff and the owners are extremely friendly and professional. The food is impeccable. Even if you didn’t like Brussel sprouts growing up… you have to try it here as a appetizer you won’t be disappointed. The wings with Brockett sauce is my favorite and their lemon pepper wings has a close second place you can’t go wrong with either. Most importantly the drinks are strong just like I like them, made very well and reasonably priced.
This is my go to spot If I want some tasty comfort food in a relaxed friendly environment, or I call my order in and pick it up.

Thank you fellow Unilocalers! I was looking for a casual restaurant that served good food — Brockett Pub House & Grill did not disappoint! Service was great and so was the food! I was a little hesitant when the server said she loved the ranch dressing. Really? Fawning over ranch dressing? No — she was right on target (full disclosure: I don’t even like ranch dressing).
We started off with chicken wings. Our server informed us that we could get 2 different flavors for 10 wings. She suggested the signature sweet and spicy and the lemon pepper. I really liked the signature sauce. The onion rings were also nice and crunchy (no soggy onion rings please).
I then had the BBQ burger (can’t have enough onion rings). It was cooked just as I requested. The spicy peanut ginger slaw was not spicy to me but I sure did enjoy it!
The décor is a typical dive-​ish bar but who cares? The food, service and it was very reasonably priced. I am rarely in that part of town but maybe I have a reason to go and take the last train the Clarkston!

Pleasant surprise seems to be the theme of these reviews and my experience was no different. Walking in, it looks like it might have been a dive bar. We were looking for some place to watch the NCAA National Championship Semifinals games and it didn’t seem very busy (which is what we were looking for to get a fan type atmosphere). However, we stayed and I’m so glad we did. Food was phenomenal and the service was great. Bartender was great and had a great experience. Volume was on at an appropriate level which made it fun to watch.

Brockett Pub House and Grill! I live about 10 minutes from this place and have been in walking distance of the pub on more occasions than I can remember. When I pulled up on a Monday night, I couldn’t believe I had never been here. From the specials on a boards when you walk in, the numerous televisions to the crazy beer selection; I may make this my new favorite spot.
I had seen the pictures previously on Unilocal!so I already had it in my mind what I wanted to order. I ordered the braised beef grilled cheese with muenster cheese on sourdough bread accompanied with a side of fried pickles! FREAKIN’ DELICIOUS!!! I like to try new things if I frequent a restaurant but I’m not sure if I want to try anything else. I didn’t try a beer because the weekend before I had one too many alcoholic beverages and I’m fasting from alcohol (until the next weekend, that is). I got an Uptown (up north this is what we call Arnold Palmers).
The waiter was über friendly. The atmosphere was definitely loud, but on a Sunday while the football game is on — this is the perfect place to come! On this Monday, you could hear a baby yelling, a group of men cheering, my boyfriend talking and the waiters all around. This isn’t the ideal date spot but definitely a place to come hang out with friends and enjoy some good eats.
Next time I come will have to be on a Tuesday for half off burgers! They have this burger called the Cuban burger! I think this may be my next victim on their menu.
I’ll definitely be returning very soon.

I have been to Brockett about 100 dozen million times. I lived walking distance from it for 3 years. My boyfriend, at the time, and I had always passed it and were curious about it, so one day we just went in and decided to check it out. We felt like we had found the hidden gem of the area! Our local bar! Not only do they have a rotating seasonal craft beer list, they have great cocktails and excellent food with daily specials. The service has always been wonderful; we’ve made friends with at least 2 – 3 people who work there to they point where they knew what we were gonna order, etc. Haha! I don’t think there is a single thing on the menu we haven’t tried. We’ve told lots of people about Brockett, as well.
My only two gripes.
1. Closes too early. Though, if that’s what needs to happen in order to stay in business, understood.
2. Too bright! The lighting is restaurant style and I think maybe after a certain time it could be a little darker?
