I have only been to this place a time or two, and have just had soup. Hence, the reason for the second visit. The soup is the butternut squash soup. I have tried to replicate it at home, came close, but will return to Brioni’s for this delicious bowl of ‘HEAVEN. The woman that owns this place is also very kind and personable. Thanks again for such a wonderful soup !!

This is a great little deli. They have Zingerman’s bread you can buy by the loaf and amazing breakfasts, soups and sandwiches. One of my favorite places! The service is friendly and the atmosphere is casual. Quiet enough to actually have a good conversation with your companions.

I’d say this place is great. A little overpriced, but the sandwiches are better than anything else around town. I eat here instead of Panera. It has a great little outdoor section to eat at too!

Brioni was suggested to me by a co-worker, and I just happened to be in the area after a work meeting. It was mostly empty right before noon, and when we told the server we’d never been there before, she made some suggestions for us. I ended up getting the cherry bomb salad and the adult grilled cheese. The salad was great! The dressing was really good and it was very fresh. The grilled cheese was pretty basic, but it came with a pickle and the bread was very good. I wanted to try the toffee iced frappé, but I had to leave quickly. I’d definitely go back!

Fabulous little deli, bakery, and coffee shop. They have soups, salad, and amazing sandwiches. They’re made with quality ingredients. My favorite sandwich is the turkey BLT. Although… It’s the only sandwich I’ve tried haha! I’m sure if I tried another it would be my favorite too. The owners are SO nice. I came in one day right before they closed and the lady went out of her way to make things fresh for me even though they were almost closed. Seriously such sweet people. Amazing local business. If you haven’t been here– you’re missing out!!!

Way overpriced for the size of the sandwich. It’s not a classic deli. Zimmerman bread is amazing well because its from Zimmerman bakery. Best deli around is the deli is Keego Harbor.

THEBEST place to get sandwiches around here!!! The baked goods such as muffins are extremely good as well. I prefer to get the pepper chicken pepper sandwich and cinnamon chip muffins. It never disappoints!

– TAKE-OUT/LUNCH REVIEW – I was treated to Brioni by a client while working in the Clarkston area, and I was really delighted to try out a truly locally-owned deli; I think you can learn a lot about a community from their locally-owned brekky/lunch deli spots. If this is the case, then Brioni indicates that Clarkston has a great spot for locals to eat-in and take-out while not spending too much and pleasing many palates! Given that I was eating take-out with a large group of varying tastes and dietary needs, it was great that Brioni satisfied the more traditional deli desires of the good ol’ Reuben and the big, cheesy bready panini sanwiches, while also catering to the more greeny and veggie folks. For me, their Mediterranean Salad was absolutely perfect, especially as a lunch portion. The Mediterranean Salad was comprised of big, fresh cucumber, tomato, and tri-color bell pepper chunks, mixed with fresh feta and olives. No messin’ around with lettuce on this one! I added a grilled chicken breast for $ 3 more, and it was perfect — chilled so it matched the salad well, and well-portioned, not greasy, and not over-seasoned. It was served with dressing and a fresh slice of bread on the side. My client and friend who chose Brioni swears by the Orzo Soup; she commented every minute how delicious it was. The packaging and presentation of the take-out food was orchestrated really well. The food traveled nicely! No errors on this take-out order for 14. Well done, Brioni.

Absolutely love this place. This truly is my first choice in Clarkston. Fantastic Mom&Pop business that I cannot patronize enough… Half #4 designer’s special sandwitch + half Greek salad = Excellent. Owners are often present and it shows in the great service, smiling faces, quality of the food, cleanliness of environment, etc. Great outdoor dining area for the summer!

This is my go to spot in clarkston for a quick yummy meal! The owners are so sweet and kind and the food quality is never disappointing. Def recommend the soups but the salads, and sandwiches are great too. And zingermanns baked goods are the icing on the cake!

The best breakfast in Clarkston. My favorite is the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich on a fresh bagel. At lunch, the«Main Street» on Zingerman’s rye, is my recommendation. Larry, Louise and the staff make the customer feel at home. Brioni’s is a definite«must» when you’re in town.

The soups here are the best in the city of Clarkston! And everyone is always so friendly. I also love their breakfast sandwiches! If you’re in the area and need a fresh sandwich, Brioni is the place to be!

I LOVE café brioni. I get cravings for their butternut squash soup and tomato mozzarella sandwich. Prices are reasonable considering you are getting super fresh and great quality ingredients. I have never had something here that I didn’t like. The place is small and gets really busy and fills up fast during lunch time.

Came in here due to the reviews a few months ago looking for an excellent, authentic Reuben. You’d be surprised how many«Reubens» aren’t actually Reuben sandwiches. Unfortunately, this place did not deliver at all. Honestly, I would say their Reuben is on par with Arby’s and Arby’s cost about 5 bucks less. I have to at least appreciate they had all the right ingredients in the Reuben, but none of them were fresh. The corn beef tasted like it was sitting around, and was definitely not made to order. It tasted like they had this thing sitting around in the fridge for a couple days and then(barely) reheated it for me and put a Vlasic pickle on the side. Reuben — $ 10 Maybe some of their other sandwiches taste good, but I haven’t returned since, and definitely won’t. I don’t trust the freshness after this sandwich. Although, to speak to the décor and service, I was impressed to find a nice little place to sit down and eat lunch(that you brought from home). It was inviting, and the owner saw me standing around from my sandwich and asked what I ordered so he could check on it(to see how it was doing in the microwave). If you’re looking for an authentic deli, look elsewhere.

Best esspresso anywhere! Larry does something magical to the coffee where it’s never the slightest bit bitter. I recommend a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich(on a croissant or zingermans bread) and a double esspresso to start your morning off right!

I enjoy Brioni’s coffee and breakfast selections, as well as their soups. Their sandwiches are tasty and salads are okay. I agree with other reviews — the food is expensive. The sandwiches and salads are skimpy on the toppings and meat. Overall Brioni is a nice local option for breakfast and lunch.

First time here for my wife and I. First impressions, were this is a great local spot. We both ordered deli sandwiches and they were spectacular. The service and the décor were excellent. I knocked one star off, because the full sandwiches were a bit pricey for the size of the portion in my opinion. However, I would drop the cash again cause it was pretty darn good, just won’t make it a daily stop…;). Well worth checking out, and I can’t wait to try the bakery goods.
