Even though they rarely offer the same menu item twice, you will always get superb food from this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is incredible. Always fresh and local ingredients. Clarkesville is so fortunate to have this restaurant. The chef is a master at his craft. Our food here has always been amazing.

I do not know how we missed hitting this place in the time since it opened. I can say honestly that I never saw the place despite driving past it 20 times. It has been 5 years since we moved to No. GA from CA and this was the first really great meal we’ve eaten since we got here. We both thought our dining experience today was comparable to our experiences at the French Laundry in Yountville, CA. Pencil us in for Sunday brunch every other week. Chef Chris uses all his ingredients in a balanced but interesting manner. Each dish was spot on and had my palate doing a happy dance for an hour and a half. Really, you need to hit this place for a great dining experience. We had the Pickled Veggies and Greens with Lamb belly, lamb bacon, Sopressata, Sourdough toast and Sweet Potato mustard. We split a Portabello mushroom salad with the creamiest Blue cheese, geens, nuts and topped with a SSU Quail Egg. We had Trout over Fennel Grits(wish I had a bowl of those grits right now!) and Kale greens. We then had Lamb Belly(to die for repeatedly) over Sweet Potato Purée and Kale. A Mimosa and an Irish Cactus Coffee(Duggins Irish Cream, Alma Anejo Tequila and Jumping Goat Coffee) were our beverages of choice((No alcohol served until 12:30 p.m.)) Somehow we actually saved room for a dish of Cinnamon Apple Ice Cream which they make on premises. We left a teaspoon of the ice cream behind and were two happy happy people.

As good as any farm to table restaurant in Atlanta. Absolutely exceptional. Inexplicably located in lovely, tiny downtown Clarkesville. We will drive over an hour from Stone Mountain for this. The spinach salad was stunning, as was my catfish. The portions were ample. The oatmeal cookie oatmeal ice cream dessert we shared was downright huge. Ready to come back and we haven’t left yet.

Pleasant setting, creative menu that merits the reasonable pricing Scallops for a starter and duck for dinner was perfect Sweet potato and blue cheese ice cream rounded out a creative dinner… worth all 5 stars The staff was super as they have a solid understanding ‘gluten free’ needs. We will make the drive from Atlanta, again and again!!!

A bit pricy for the area but consistently delicious and fresh ingredients, which are locally sourced. Service is slow at times, but always friendly. If you want to go somewhere for a special occasion(slightly more than casual), I highly recommend this place.

My boyfriend and I came her for Valentines Day dinner and were not disappointed. We are foodies from Atlanta and left wishing this place could be a regular for us. It was absolutely delicious and the food was so fresh! I will be dreaming about the sweet potato and sweet onion soup for sometime! The menu changes often so there aren’t any«house favorites» but I don’t think you can order poorly here. Loved it and hope to be back!

It is difficult to convey the essence of Harvest with one descriptive. All of the ingredients for an excellent dining experience are in place: Flavorful, innovative food, adventurous beer, wine and spirits offerings, friendly, informative staff, «cloth napkin yet casual» atmosphere. Add in Clarkesville’s free parking on the Square(Harvest about twenty paces away) and a superb musical motif(for those Sinatra, Ella, Satchmo and Co. aficionados) for an overall delightfully satisfying time. We will be making Harvest a regular Satur’date’. Bravo, Chris, Laura and Team.

Thursday night dinner with my husband and we each ordered the same thing – arugula salad and sautéed catfish and grits with greens. The restaurant is very comfortable and the service was quick and friendly. There is quiet music playing that is not so loud that it interferes with conversation but loud enough that it doesn’t feel like a museum. Our wine arrived within a few moments and was properly chilled. The arugula and beet salad was tasty and came with a smear of goat cheese. Lovely presentation and about $ 8. The entrée was delicious – we both loved it and ate every bite – almost licked the plates! We rarely order dessert but I told my husband that I would get chocolate mousse if they had it and what do you know! The chef’s version was a cross between mousse and fudge – sinful! I think it was about $ 8. I believe our dinners were around $ 22? We really enjoyed the evening and plan to come back again.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing dinner at Harvest Habersham. Each course was incredibly enjoyable, with thoughtful touches and wonderful flavor and texture combos. We had the boiled peanuts(AMAZING!), the fried green tomatoes, a beautiful piece of fish and finally a mind-blowing chocolate dessert. The portions were generous and Laura was passionate and knowledgeable about every aspect of the meal. This restaurant rivals any I have had in the big cities of America and its tucked away in tiny town in NE Georgia.

Hands-down best food in habersham county. 100% delicious. If I could give more stars I would. I had the roasted chicken breast and it has me using words like divine. I would eat here multiple times a day if I could.

While visiting North Georgia wine country this past weekend, we had opportunity to dine here. I have Celiac and was pleasantly surprised how extensive their menu is! The fried olives are interesting and clearly a favorite on menu. There is a wide variety of wine on the menu and the prices are VERY reasonable. The party of 6 were ready to come back the next night! Definitely worth a visit!

Had dinner with my wife, she had the eggplant vegy plate which was excellent and I had the rabbit plate which was undercooked with blood showing and very tuff. Left it on the plate and was not satisfied. I would have felt better if there would have been some compensation made to the price I paid. Watch what you order!!! Will not recommend it to any of my friends.

Thoroughly enjoyed my dinner here! I was staying in town and my host suggested this restaurant, calling it the best restaurant in town, which I’m sure is accurate! High caliber dishes that were complex, beautiful, and fresh. Chef, you outdid yourself. So wonderful to see restaurants like this outside the city. Definitely coming back!

Yup. All that and more. One of the most wonderful, fresh, local, creative, pleasant, courteous, amazing restaurants I’ve EVER been to. Trust me, that says a lot.

An AZING little nugget in NEGA… this is MUST when in the NC/GA Mountains… farm to table at its best! The Chef and the staff are passionate about the food and the presentation… the storefront is deceiving… once inside you will find white linen tables set in preparation for an amazing treat! The flavors and textures in each dish will please your taste buds. Try everything, it s all fresh and cooked to perfection… leave room for the daily deserts. The menu changes daily… the recycling of old daily menus as a plate decoration is BRILLIANT! We will return soon. Take the ride from Atlanta or Highlands… or Rabun/Burton…well worth the trip and enjoy the added bonus of visiting the charming Clarksville Square.

I came in here for lunch on a work break. First off I loved the atmosphere. It was airy and had an upscale feel to it. Being on a vegetarian/gf diet, i ordered a salad that came with fresh lettuce, goat cheese, apples and pecans with a buttermilk dressing, and a side of cheesy grits. The food was excellent. Everything tasted fresh and the staff was very friendly. My only negative would be it took quite awhile for the food to come out, and I had to eat rather quickly so I could get back to work on time. I don’t mind waiting for good quality food, but the restaurant was not busy so I assumed it would go by a little quicker. I would definitely go back, but will make sure I have time to spare next time I come in. I would recommend this place!

Dinner with a friend this week… quiet night. We sat at the bar and had Laura all to ourselves. We opted to take the«share everything» route — a starter(paired perfectly with our manhattans), then two apps, an entrée, and a dessert. We asked Laura to pair our wines with each dish — just surprise us. We also ask her to have Chris send out each of our dishes in the sequence he thought made the most sense. Absolutely perfect experience. I have posted pictures of every dish with the exception of the starter… it was so good that I totally forgot to snap a pic before we devoured it. A second chance is often hard to do but usually reaps fabulous rewards.

GREAT– find– thanks Unilocal! Thankfully the kitchen at our rental cabin was not up to par, so we decided to dine out Friday night. Everything fell into place perfectly! We were seated in a cozy booth within view of the roaring fire, a welcome site on an unseasonably cold evening! The locally sourced products were our initial draw. We started with the Bere Bere seasoned pork rinds, because my hubby cannot possibly turn down such a treat. I enjoyed the subtle spice as well. We also shared the cast iron double yolk sunny side egg dish– REALLY a nice treat– the egg was smooth and creamy with a spicy hash. I really did not need a salad but I’m a sucker for a nice buttermilk dressing. The combination of the dressing and the smooth goat cheese with the local lettuces did not disappoint. For entrees, he had the blue corm meal dusted trout with jalapeño and carrot hash. I MUST remember to make that veggie combo at home– who knew they went so well together? I ordered the pork osso bucco with the lightest grits(Sills Milling in Cleveland GA!) and yummiest braised kale I’ve ever had. The local beer was a hit with him while I was SOOVERTHEMOON about the Nacoochee Red from Sautee Nacoochee Vineyards that I had to chase a few bottles down the next day to take home. The dessert menu looked great but, well, we were«supposed» to be enjoying our cabin for the weekend, so I busted out a mean S’more when we got back. Hopefully we’ll find more excuses to return to Harvest Habersham again soon!

We were referred to HH by Jerry from Lucille’s Mountaintop Inn & Spa. We thought the food was all so fresh and well seasoned, super impressed. Our server seemed very knowledgeable about food. The only disappointment was the décor inside. It felt more like an Italian restaurant than a farm to table restaurant. Also, I would prefer my artisan bread not buttered. But, everything else was fabulous! We recommend The Spread, Farm Egg and Arugula salad.
