We enjoyed our first visit – the sushi was very good, the pork/beef BBQ was good and ample with a tasty sauce and very fresh lettuce wraps and very nutty brown rice(if you want spicy, specify). The green salad was good(ask for dressing on the side) and the wings were ok. BYO is very welcome and the staff was exceptionally nice – the waitress did a much better job cooking my food than I would have. Nicer décor than we expected and lots of free parking. As with an increasing number of Asian places, if you use a Groupon, they are happy to apply it, but ask that you tip in cash.

Second time for lunch. Ordered the spicy squid box lunch. Very little unspicy squid in the dish and no soy sauce for the dumplings. Food also could have been warmer. Friend ordered the shrimp and seemed happy with the meal. Probably worth a return trip but would get something else.

Unfortunately we really did not enjoy our meal. We tried a lot of dishes on the menu because we love Korean food and had high expectations. To start, the wonton soup with egg drop was so salty, neither my husband nor I could eat it. The broth was salty and the wontons were completely coming apart with little glass noodle bits poking out. We didn’t like the flavor and couldn’t even enjoy the broth. The udon noodles had a red fiber/string in them, were not very flavorful and the pepper in the mix didn’t do much. The chicken teriyaki bento box was lacking teriyaki flavor, the sauce was thin and the chicken didn’t taste good. Bits were burnt and inside it was a pink color. It was cooked, but with a burnt flavor on the outside. Even the California roll that came with it was falling apart. The rice was hard and stale, and wasabi(which my husband usually enjoys with sushi) was a hard dry little ball that did NOT look fresh. The bulgogi bento box also had a bad taste, the meat didn’t seem like it was good quality. It left a bad after taste. My husband liked the potstickers and the dipping sauce but he said it tasted like the frozen ones we get from the store. The jap chae was mushy/overcooked and didn’t have a good texture. The double fried chicken also wasn’t at all what we were expecting. The texture isn’t how Korean double fried chicken is supposed to be. The chicken quality was also questionable. I have had great Korean food(Roosterspin for instance). This is one place we would not order from again. I write a lot of reviews and don’t like to leave a 1 star review, unfortunately nobody in my family enjoyed any of the food above. If we didn’t have delivery and we ate at the restaurant, we would have sent it back. Since we had it all to go, we couldn’t do that. What a disappointment.

The waitstaff was friendly but the food made me nauseous. I had a Spicy lady roll. The fish was salmon was touch and chewy. I kept getting that sickening feeling that something foreign was in my mouth and had to pull out the glob and give up. WAY too much mayo and sriacha. A sloppy amount. *shudders* This is my first bad Unilocal review, so please trust me when I said«Don’t go here for sushi».

Came in on a Friday, 7pm. Party of 4. BYOB — wonderful, came prepared. We started with the shao-mai and pork fried dumplings as appetizers — both very good! Mom had the Sashimi Salad and loved it. Said the fish was really fresh. Three of us had a spicy scallop hand roll, which was delicious! My friend had never had a hand roll in her life and it was a ‘life changer’(hi Lyss!). We then shared the Korean BBQ chicken, rib eye bulgogi and shrimp. Really good food and really great experience. Will definitely be coming back!

Love this Korean BBQ spot. the food is always good and its BYOB which is nice. It’s pretty small and usually not packed, making for a more casual yet intimate dining spot. Sometimes the service is a little slow so be prepared for a little longer dining experience.

My roommate and I recently tried the takeout order form this place. The food was alright, we ordered: 1.) Korean glass noodle — a little bit over cooked and greasy, it supposed to be much chewier. The taste is very different from other Korean restaurant too. It’s a bummer for us. 2.) Seafood pancake — taste alright but could be firmer with just few seconds of frying on each side. 3.) Stone sizzled rice — very nicely cooked with verity of toppings and proper seasoning. The price of this place is a little bit high for a takeout service at the location like this. We ordered 3 items and it was around 50 $…it’s somewhat matches the price range of those Korean restaurants in NYC from all my past experiences, which is a little odd.

This place is not a real Korean restaurant. All the flavors are off … I’m not sure how it’s so well rated but maybe there’s a lack of authentic Korean restaurants in the area so maybe theres no basis of comparison? The sushi is alright — not good and not bad — what I would expect from sushi takeout place. Then we had the Korean bbq– the sirloin and the kalbi. The sirloin was flavored with McCormick’s seasoning and overly salty. There was no shredded scallions with it and no sesame oil given. The kalbi seasoning seemed to be more like honey/bbq sauce. This place overall is very underwhelming.

This is the only place in town we go to. The food is delicious, the service is impeccable, and the portions are perfect. We always get the seafood bipimbap and it is perfect every time. The avocado crab bowl appetizer and the sushi rolls are large and delicious. Best of all it’s BYOB! Make a special time one night and give it a try… you’ll love it! Ask for Tina!

I was craving some Korean BBQ and during my hunt of nearby locations I came across this one. Located in Clark NJ, Hans served up really fresh ingredients by very friendly staff. The honeydew bubble tea paired perfectly with my Korean table lunch special of the pork. My friend ordered the steak which was deliciously pre seasoned. The lunch special came with four sides: sprouts, Kim chi, pickled daikon, and cucumber slices tossed in a chili seasoning. We also tried a spicy tuna roll(which sadly majority of restaurants can ruin) the roll was so fresh and just the right amount of spice. This restaurant is one of those you really don’t want to judge by its cover. The store front may need an upgrade to match the food and service they provide inside.

The food was greattt and the service was amazing! We brought our own $ 8 sake bottle and they warned it up into hot sake. The marination on the food was sooo good! We started with the pork dumplings and then I got the spicy pork which I loved! The chicken is ur normal chicken so try something different it delicious!

Some friends and I decided to try this place out. This was our first time at Han Place and definitely not our last! When we got to the location, it didn’t look like much at all. As a matter of fact, it was not too big and only 4 other people at the restaurant; only one waitress and one sushi chef. Wouldn’t have even stopped if it wasn’t for our friends that told us about the place. It’s BYOB so the waitress, Tina, gave us a bucket to keep our beers and wine cold. She also warmed up Saki for my friends and kept refilling constantly. She was very attentive but not overbearing. She made sure we were cooking everything correctly without ruining the meat(by drying out the chicken breast or burning it). We all ordered the tabletop BBQ and it was fabulous. My boyfriend and I ordered the Chicken and Rib Eye Bulgogi. My friends ordered marinated chicken thighs and spicy pork. All was great! The BBQ states that it’s feeds one person and I agree; of course, it all depends on your appetite. The meat was fresh and marinated perfectly in my opinion. Overall, a great night and awesome food at a decent price. If you’re in the area, check it out. You will not be disappointed! :-)

Thoroughly satisfied! Ordered delivery through the Unilocal app from this place tonight. Because I’ve never used that feature before I called to confirm they’d received it, they had and the place sounded packed, always a good sign. The food arrived almost exactly as promised by the app. It was delicious, the portions were generous. The avocado/crab appetizer was amazing, as was the jalapeño yellowtail. I read that they make their own Kim Chi, but unfortunately nothing I ordered had it included. Something to ask for next time! Will definitely revisit!

I ordered out and when I went to pickup I was surprised how nice it was inside. I knew the food was going to be great when I got in the car because the smell was overpowering. I got the BBQ Chicken and Beef Bulugi and it was unreal. Price paid was $ 38. Totally worth it. I have to eat there next time.

I would prefer to give this place two and a half stars(we ordered delivery). I ordered the bibimbap which had a really great taste, but the egg was way over cooked as was the beef which we ordered to be rare. We also had the twice fried chicken, which we were really hoping would be like the soy garlic chicken you get at bonchon. The chicken was not season at all, not even a little salt! The sauce that it came with was only okay, mostly vinegar. The fried beef dumpling were good. If I try this place again, I will go in person so if there’s something wrong it can be fixed.

3 stars and being very generous. Japanese and Korean by blood. Grew up eating food in Fort Lee and Palisades Park. Ordered: Spicy salmon — priced higher than other sushi joints. Poorly rolled. Overly minced. Bland flavor. Rainbow roll — pleasantly surprised by how tasty it was in comparison to the spicy salmon. Rolled well. Each ingredient used complimented the other well. Galbi — way over priced for the quantity and quality. 3 slices of ribs cut up. Marinade was very mild in comparison to every other Korean BBQ joint I’ve been too. Side dishes — where was the rest of it? Also had no flavor. Rice — charged for it. Never have I ever been charged for rice at a Korean restaurant. Service: I’m going to be understanding and not ding them too much on the service as the waitress said she had been working since 8am and it was around 8pm when we finished eating. However, spraying the table next to us with a surface cleaner, then walking away from it, and not coming back to wipe it down until 15 minutes later is unacceptable considering my table was the only table in the restaurant at the time. Sure I could have reminded her, but I was curious to see how long it would take. Poor wife felt nauseous. Overall — far from an authentic Korean restaurant and I will not be returning. I would rate it a 1 in terms of being worth your time. If you want Korean BBQ, take the trip to Edison and eat at Picnic Gardens. Only a few bucks more per person but it is a buffet. Palisades Park is also a food destination and literally a Korean town.

This place is a unique gem. It’s a one of a kind dinning experience that you’ll never find in our area. The sushi is prepared wonderfully in front of you and it’s taste and freshness is on the money! The cost is also right where you want it to be. The BBQ option was well worth the try. The seasoning and marinades with the BBQ option makes it a unique experience for adults and kids. Id give it a shot if your in the area.

Went to dinner here for my brother’s 25th birthday. The restaurant is well laid out and the staff is excellent. It’s also BYOB and they have the option of making sangria with your wine. I enjoyed most of the items on the menu. Especially the seafood pancake. If there’s anything you should try here I would recommend having that. I definitely will be dinning here again in the near future.

After looking on their website, I tried ordering online — but it wasn’t working for me. I called in to order delivery for lunch and I hit a wall with the person on the phone immediately. First off, according to the person I spoke on the phone with, they technically do not deliver. They only deliver when they have someone to make a delivery. Apparently I was in luck — so he continued to take my order. So I started by requesting the 2 Roll Sushi Lunch Special — which is on the menu but the man said ‘they don’t have it’. He let me order it anyway, so that was nice. I also ordered the Lunch Special Sweet Potato Clear Noodles with Chicken, and some Fried Veggie Dumplings. One of the lunch specials came with Miso Soup. Everything I ordered was delicious. The sushi had generous portions of fish stuffed in each roll. I might order from them again, albeit they are a bit more pricey than other sushi places in the area.

Just a rip off, half their menu is lunch specials And for the dinner, the bbq prices are pretty high and it was not that good. Being half empty the entire staff was just staring at you eat. if you want Korean, just go to Edison like picnic garden at least that’s a buffet

Came here on a Thursday night for an early dinner with 2 friends. We wanted to experience the table grill, so we ordered combo #1, which was beef rib, chicken, & spicy pork. It came with 5 small side dishes(mashed potatoes, seaweed salad, radish, green beans, kim chi), white rice, and lettuce to make lettuce wraps. It says the it’s good for two people, but it was more than enough for three, and for $ 55, we were happy with the price. The staff started the cooking for us and once we knew what to do, then let us cook ourselves. The food was delicious & the service was quick and friendly. It’s nice to see a place like this open in town & I’ll definitely be back.

OK food, but to me it was obviously not authentic Korean. Appears to be a Chinese attempt at a Korean restaurant. The kimchi tastes like the kind they sell in jars at Chinese grocery stores. And that BBQ sauce is a Chinese fermented bean paste — not the same as doenjang. But lots of positives also. Service was pretty good. Wait staff were courteous and the place was clean. They just need to get a real Korean chef and they will be better.

Came here late on a Sunday night and it was relatively empty, which made for a nice quiet meal. The restaurant is spacious and clean, which is always welcomed. The waitress we had recommended the Combo 1, which is for two people. We definitely had leftovers for the next day even. It was a little steep at $ 55 for two, but still cheaper than Korean BBQ places in NYC so I can’t complain too much. The beef was the best part of it. The food was cooked perfectly and they give you 5 side dishes and if you ask for more, it’s free refills so don’t be shy. It even comes with a bowl of rice per person. I would definitely return to this restaurant!

This place is the real deal. I’m not Korean, but I know they are authentic. First off they make their own kimchi. Secondly their little appetizers include smoked pickled zucchini and little potato balls. We had a simple dinner. My wife had the salmon terriaki lunch box, I had the kimchi Jige(tofu, pork and lots of homemade kimchi). I couldn’t finish the entire portion so I’ve got my lunch for today. Prices reasonable for the décor, quality, service, and portions. We’ll be back.
