My coworker and I had to grab breakfast before heading off to work(sorry hotel, but we had enough of the free continental breakfast… we wanted to chow down on some options). So, being 6am(and really not much to choose from), we drove the short distance to Perkins. We were seated right away, by a friendly but busy worker, who kind of hurried us along(thinking back now, I may not have been fully awake and competent at this point). We grabbed the menus and started deciding. Others came in, maybe a total of 4 other families. The waitress definitely knew the customers by name and asked them if they wanted their«regulars». Loyal fan of? Maybe. We both had breakfast platters, choosing French toast and Lemon Blueberry pancakes. It didn’t take long for the meals to come out(I sure hope not, we were the only ones to start out in the restaurant!!). I was slightly annoyed that the coffee additions(creamers, sugar, etc) weren’t replenished, even after I scooted them to the edge of the table as a friendly reminder. I mean, people need their coffee in the morning! The food was nicely prepared, but lacked seasoning. I hate adding salt and pepper to my food, but had a heavy hand that morning, as my eggs and sausage did nothing for me taste buds. The French toast was sub par, as I have had wayyy better in my time, but, it was edible and we were in a hurry, so we didn’t complain. It worked as a nice break up from the hotel continental, as that was getting a little old on our stay at Clarion, but would not make Perkins my regular stop for breakfast.

We stopped in for a late lunch or early dinner. We had a range from pancakes to chicken. Everything was great and our service was fast and friendly. I am glad we stopped here.

First and last visit here. Very pleasant server — Jodi. But food bland and poorly prepared. Rubber chicken, lousy soup, tasteless salad with heavy dressing. No liquor, which might have helped. Wouldn’t risk dessert, based on meal. Little choice in this small town for discerning diners.

Years ago in the far away state of florida, perkins was a favorite. Today, at this location, the Tuscan chicken was rubbery. Chicken soup good though. Location aged and seats ripped and not fresh clean feel. Looks like the good reviews are for breakfast items, only? So chose carefully.

Best place around for omelets. Prefer eating here to eat n park, the breakfast potatoes are always great and I always end up getting an omelet it seems. It’s not that their sandwiches and dinners aren’t good, because they are, but I am pretty much always in the mood for breakfast when I’m at a diner type place.

It’s been 2 weeks since we ate here on our road trip across America and we are still talking about the Multi-Grain Blueberry Pancakes. At no other time in our lives, not in mama’s or grandma’s kitchen, not in the fanciest of dining establishment have we ever had better Blueberry Pancakes. This day, Perkins set the«gold standard» by which all other pancakes will be judged. We still crave the mounds of hot delicious blueberries that come out of the delicious multi-grain stack. It’s better than the best desert we have ever had. Nothing we can do – sadly Perkins does not like the West Coast of the USA and there are no locations anywhere in California. :( But why not? We also had a awesome Egg White Omelet with Spinach and Broccoli that is to die for. Perkins puts Dennys and IHOP and many other high end LA breakfast places to shame! And it’s a shame that we are going to have to wait to get back to the mid-west to dine here again. Service at Perkins you want to know: Direct and matter of fact. They take the order and deliver the goods. That’s it – it’s Perkins. OMG! I am craving those pancakes again just writing this review…

Food was, of course, standard all-American Perkins fare, which served our needs fine. What impressed us most was the friendly, attentive service. This was a welcome end to a tough day of driving.

Stopped in here with my boyfriend and a friend while driving through PA. Before we went in, we thought it was a family-run, Mom and Pop type place. but as soon as we got the menus we realized it was a Denny’s/Ihop style joint(little bit of a letdown) Waiter was very friendly and food was surprisingly very good. but maybe we were just famished from our 6 hour car ride. their peanut butter silk pie should be considered the 8th deadly sin… they advertise themselves as a bakery too, so I’m pretty certain it was baked on site. sosososooo much sugar but so ridiculously good, we even took two slices to go.

We ate there today for the first time. I has the potato pancakes and eggs. It was incredible! For 2 people our total bill was $ 17.83. The portions were huge and very flavorful.
