Salon In The Tower

I have been going to Salon In The Tower for the past 3 years and I honestly love it! I always have Elena cut my hair and she never disappoints. The salon uses all Bumble & Bumble products, which I’m addicted to, so I really like getting to try new lines of products B&B has come out with when getting my hair done. The prices are very reasonable as well. I am moving to NYC in a year and I honestly think I am going to fly home every few months just to get my hair cut by Elena here (and to visit my family too of course ;))!

After initially posting a negative review due to being treated poorly by a receptionist, I am happy to report that I am issuing a re-​write to reflect FIVE STARS. The issue I experienced was handled with great care & professionalism by Salon in the Tower’s owner, Chrissy (Thank you so much for taking the time to address & correct this issue, it speaks volumes of your character & the pride you take in your business)
The services are amazing, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. The atmosphere at Salon in the Tower is very relaxed, eclectic and calming. One of the best in their category. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

A facial by April was extremely relaxing and rejuvenating. She recommended products but did not force them (I declined since they were on the expensive side). Overall, a wonderful experience in a wonderful environment and worth the money! I recommend you pamper yourself to their Signature Massage.

I had an appointment with April for the 1 hour signature facial and OH MY GOD it was incredibly relaxing. She makes you feel instantly comfortable and is amazingly knowledgeable of her trade. She made service and product recommendations, but does not PUSH product — this is a big deal as I hate feeling pressured to purchase something after an hour of relaxation. I’m much more inclined to try the samples (which she provided) and come back to purchase at my next visit. I am a long time spa-​goer and I must say this is hands down the BEST facial I have EVER had.
My ONLY 2 complaints are her availability (she only works on thursdays from 9 – 4) — which really isn’t her fault — her husband travels and she has children at home. It was tough to get an appointment with her. I understand there is another esthetician (Linda) — but I have yet to meet her — Wish I could have been introduced at my last visit. They are also closed on Wednesdays — I found that odd…
Nevertheless, I can’t WAIT to go back! Beautiful spa & atmosphere :)

I had my wedding party preparatoin here and couldn’t be more pleased with the facilities and the service.
I had coordinated everything from Miami, FL and the ladies at Salon in the Tower were more than accomodating. They were very easy to get in touch with and very clear about the prices, services, and options.
Because my ceremony was so early on Saturday, they let some of us come on Friday for our manicures and pedicures.
On Saturday morning, we basically had the place to ourselves. They had set up a table for us to put all of our champagne and pastries and let us choose the music.
My and my bridesmaids hair turned out perfect. There were a few ladies working on our hair and a couple doing the makeup. They managed to stay within the time limit (which was a tight one) and the price was extremely reasonable.
My only complaint was that the woman who applied my makeup must have just returned from a cigarette break. Her breathe in my face was not the most pleasant thing to smell when you are trying to get pretty.
I hadn’t realized this place was so far OUT there. I thought it wasn’t going to be that far past Transit Rd. It definitely is.
Budget time for the drive, but definitely book an appt. here, it is well worth it!!!
