Great place and family environment! The portions are large and even for the price. There are good priced meals that will run you around $ 5 for breakfast and are easily worth $ 10. The food is good, the people are awesome and the service was fast. Thanks for a great breakfast experience!

Been there 3 times, they made my order exactly how I asked. Two pancakes, two bacon & two scrambled eggs, stacked in this order on one plate.(Keeps my eggs warm while I eat). Beware! The PK’s are as big as the plate! They do not take Credit Cards. Only Cash or Check

Lots of meat. Big portions. Happy teenagers. Reputation is justified, but I try to reserve 5 stars for unique«wow» experiences. No reason not to come here. I’d come back.

It’s very clean and the staff are really friendly. Breakfast is served all day(they close at 2:00). I thought the prices were steep but then I saw that the portions are ginormous! The flavor of the food was mediocre. We ordered the pan San breakfast, bacon cheese burgers and the chicken fried steak breakfast. While we did leave full, we weren’t impressed enough to say we will go back. Seasoning makes a difference!

If you want to make sure you are full after breakfast then go to Hugo’s. If you’re still hungry after you leave this place you did something wrong. I had eggs, potatoes and ham and it was absolutely delicious. My girlfriend had the pancakes, eggs and bacon. She also enjoyed it very much. The only negative was that most of the bacon was really crispy which is just not our preference although I know a lot of people who do like it crispy. The service was really good and the prices were also quite reasonable. My only advice is if you go to Hugo’s you better bring an appetite because you do get a lot of food!

this is a must visit place every time I come home to visit family, nice down home atmosphere. I have only ever eaten breakfast here though, why? because BACON silly! They do NOT scrimp on the bacon and the German fried potatoes are excellent! Hey if this place is good enough for Garth Brooks then it is surely good enough for me!

Most breakfast plates is plenty for 2 people! I swear they give you a half pound of bacon per order! Nice wait staff!

WARNING — breakfast here is addictive !!! I travel 3 weeks out of the month and being a foodie search for the best places to eat. Out of the 70 restaurant reviews I’ve only give 2 five star ratings. this place being one of them Food and service always, and I mean always, spot on. The best breakfast I have ever had(sorry mom). This place make IHOP look like a school cafeteria. For bacon and ham lovers Hugo’s is paradise. Food is on a platter and when bacon is included it’s fanned over the plate. I think I had 12 slices of bacon but with so much who’s counting. Also to note it’s not those baby slices you get at most places but big hearty slices. Breakfast here is worth the drive from Tulsa!

Not sure why this place is crazy popular. Oh wait, I do know. Huge portions of food. My husband and I came for breakfast. We experienced a long wait with no sense of order regarding who was seated first. The hostess and waitresses were not down right rude but not pleasant either. The worse was the food. Yes, there were huge portions but the food was awful. Our hash browns were scorched and the corned beef hash was disgusting. We haven’t been back.

Little quant place. Every time we went there(2 times) we waited 30 minutes or more. Staff is on the rude side. The meal is decent for the price. They over compensate size for quality. We are Eggberts people and should have never faltered.

The food is great, the portions are ridiculous & that’s the only reason I gave hugo’s 3 stars. No matter what time you go there’s always a huge wait. The lady @ the front that takes down names for the wait list always looks like she’s having a bad day. In fact it’s sad your first impression of the place has to be w her… the rest of the staff are all cheerful. There’s been several times I’ve waited more than 30 mins & have seen people that have arrived after us being seated. I usually don’t bug the front for a wait time but I’ve gone up to ask about how many people are in front of us & sure enough she didn’t even write down our name, and yes this has happened more than once. I find this kind of services completely unacceptable. Also, another couple complaints… what kind of place doesn’t offer free refills, or doesn’t accept debit cards? If u feel the need to eat here I highly suggest ordering to go, but make sure u check everything before u leave because I’ve been shafted that way too. All I can say is they’re lucky I like their omelets & German potatoes so much! Also, bring cash, they don’t accept debit/credit cards.

This place is THE place to go for an «Authentic Country Breakfast», it’s great. They mean business with their bacon. My plate came with ELEVEN pieces. The cost is also very reasonable, two breakfast plates, and an OJ under $ 20.

Can’t say anything bad about this place. SHARE A MEAL! :) We were traveling through town and found this place based on reviews on Unilocal. What a find! It’s a bit off the beaten path so looks to be like a local place. The servings are HUGE. The four of us each ordered our own meals and took three full take-home containers with us to go. I got biscuits and gravy and it was SO yummy! The other things that we ordered were Eggs Benedict, Chili Omelet and ham and eggs with pancakes. My husband is very picky about his pancakes and said these are the closest thing to his late-mother’s pancakes. Every pancake is compared to his mom’s and these rated right up there with what he grew up on. He loved them! The servers were awesome and very friendly. Not sure we’ll make it back up to Claremore but if we do, we’ll make sure we can get to Hugo’s for breakfast. If you’re driving through the area, this is the place you have to stop for breakfast!

If you are ever in Claremore, OK. You have to stop by this place for breakfast. You’ll get enormous amounts of food for a great value. If you eat here for breakfast you won’t have to worry about eating anything for lunch. It’s the best breakfast that you can get in the Tulsa area.

There are some places on this planet that make you wonder how they stay in business. Some are because they have no customers and I suspect they are all fronts for the mob. Others, like Hugo’s, are because they give you so much for so little. Among the three of us who visited for a Saturday morning breakfast, we averaged a dozen pieces of bacon a head. I’m not talking about that Ihop stuff that looks like the ribbons on a little girl’s bicycle handlebars. These were some for serious 1⁄8 inch cross-sections of pig back. While the portions are large, I can’t say the preparation is the best that it could be. Then again, this must be what happens when it has to be cooked en masse for what seemed to be the entire county showing up for breakfast. There’s not many places worth waiting in line for breakfast, but Hugo’s was. The building was right where it needs to be. With so many restaurants being engineered to give an air of authenticity, Hugo’s just is what it is without such pretension. From the model car collection to the mismatched furniture, this is what a rural diner should be.
