We showed up at 6:10 on a Saturday evening. The store hours say open until 7:00. After we bought our pies and she had our money, she would not let us sit down and eat. She said they were closing early, condescendingly called my wife«baby», and made us leave. We will never return. I will not have my wife and children treated that way by anyone.

The exact same excellent fried pies as the Arbuckle Mountain location we love in OKC. This place is tiny and barely marked, on a side street just down from the J.M. Davis museum. The outside looks pretty rough with a tiny parking area, but the inside is very clean and there’s a nicely updated dining space. A female staff member served us and also gave directions to a nearby store we were looking for. She was very friendly and upbeat. We didn’t try their meal offerings but grabbed coconut fried pies which blew our minds. Delicious, fresh, and plentiful with a very fair price. We’ll return, happy to find these pies much closer to our Missouri home than OKC!

I have been here 2 times prior to this visit. The two times prior to this one, the lady had took my order and served me. She was very nice but this time a older male took my order. When I first entered, the man seemed irritated but it just occurred to me that he was just having a long day. While ordering however, a young african American male around 12 or 13 came in and left his bike by the door. The older man told him«can you move your bike away from my building and on to the driveway.» The young man politely agreed and did what he was told as the older man watched him like a hawk. As my friend and I was sitting and waiting for my order in the back of the restaurant, the young man had came back, and I noticed he was tired from his bike ride and was patiently waiting in line. When he was about to order however, the older man had asked him if he had any money and repeatedly asked him to show him his money before ordering. The next thing made me very upset. The boy took out a few dollars to to show him that he did indeed have money but the older man told him to ride his bike and eat at McDonald’s. McDonald’s is a bit far for a bike ride. I could not believe what I was hearing. I’m sure the boy had already biked long enough and just got off of school. The boy paid for his order in full and left. I feel so bad for not paying for the young mans food and regret not doing so. I will never eat here again. It was a very uncomfortable situation.

Went in today to try their pies. The owner or an associate, not sure which he was, was outside. He saw us and didn’t acknowledge us. I didn’t mind it at the time but as we went in and order, a white couple came in and they were greeted as welcomed guest. A moment later an African American child came in and was told to show his money first before ordering, I’ve honestly never heard of ANY restaurant doing this. The whole time we were there we felt intimidated by him. I’m happy to say I will not be going back.

Go for the fried dessert pies. The meal pies tend to be a little greasy, but the dessert pies are rather awesome. Their steak fingers were pretty good though. My wife likes the Indian tacos. It is a little pricey if you take the family and do dessert.

What a wonderful mom and pop! My husband and I had the taco salad and indian taco – we both thought ours was the best we had ever had. Four year old had the chicken pot pie – pie. He ate the whole thing which is amazing for him. Got a fruit pie as well and homemade fried green tomatoes – not one item wasn’t amazing. First time we had had a good meal in Claremore-finally a dining reason to stop. :)

We love this restaurant. The hamburger and home made chips are so good. In fact, I think it’s the best burger in Claremore. The fried pies are delicious. But the best thing going on for this restaurant is the owner and the staff. After our second visit, they recognized us and welcomed us as regulars. I wish I could describe other menu items, but the burger is all I’ve tried because it’s that good.

Here visiting from Orange County California and stopped in to have a fried pie .I had a pineapple Coconut upon special request(couldn’t makeup my mind) and it was unbelievable. I also had a Indian taco which was incredible, the first time for both. I loved it and will be going to get more before I go home…
