Expect at least a line to the door everytime… however don’t expect that the baristas’ will be willing or eager to help you with a «new item» on the menu. After waiting eight minutes in line I explained a particular ice tea I was looking for with the new citrus-mint flavor added, Fernando insisted they carried nothing of the sort and once he was given full detail of exactly what I was looking for he couldn’t find it on the registered and became very impatient with me, ultimately I had to order something else because he didn’t know how to ring it up; he wanted to ring up my «iced tea» as a «latte», which at that point with then change the price… Needless to say the experience was very frustrating and I walked out with something I didn’t going in for.

Everyone here is Awesome not a Fan of the newbies but they have caught up quickly and some remember that I’m a regular. The night crew knows me very well the most cause I work the night shift” I love that not only do they remember ur name if ur a Reg but if they’re out of Soy or Coconut milk haha they keep u posted. I just love the environment in general all in all everything about this Starbucks in particular.

Something about their blonde roast pour-over has got me jacked. And usually, I’m pretty immune to coffee. Street parking in the village is a hit or miss. If you’re trying to come here during lunch or dinner hours, you’re better off walking from a few blocks away. Seating varies depending on your mood. There are plenty of patio seats outdoors, cushioned seats with decent-sized tables for working, and stools with a small table to quickly chat with your friend while waiting for an order. Something that made me a little sad: no wireless chargers at this location. Service was okay. The lady at the register was very friendly and patient despite the line. But the way the baristas jotted down orders while one handled the register was disorganized, so I had to repeat my order several times. I got a blonde roast pour-over, which they forgot about. I suppose that extra time waiting went to more caffeine magically finding its way into my cup because I’m still very awake 6 hours after my coffee fix. And that never happens.

We stopped in here for coffee after we checked out the Claremont Colleges. I thought that Claremont would never allow a Starbucks, but I guess it was allowed ’cause it is south of the 10. It was a drive-through, but we went inside. Service speed was pretty on par with other Starbucks. Cashier was friendly.

Stopped by at this Starbucks before my hair appointment today. This location is great. There’s a lot of parking spots. If you can find one. The interior isn’t as inviting as most Starbucks are. The patio area is very small, but if you can find a seat it’s really quiet and relaxing. The service also isn’t top notch and they don’t really focus on the customers. They’re a bit too into talking amongst themselves. Drink quality is fine. Tastes as it should. I’d still stop by if I were in the area and needed my Starbucks fix.

This Starbucks obviously doesn’t train their baristas correctly. The girl ringing up front, «Kaitlyn» needs to be retrained on policies and procedures. I asked her to make my smoothie a certain way and said she couldn’t make it that way. First of all. You always just say yes that’s Starbucks policy. Learn it and abide by it. She’s rude and obviously hates her job.

this review is mostly for the super friendly morning staff: Robyn and Fernando are awesome. yes, it gets busy, but they are efficient, friendly, and clearly know their regulars. they keep the line moving and the atmosphere pleasant and relaxed. this location is in Claremont Village; parking is unmetered and generally plentiful, but of course it fills up during peak hours. there’s a nice patio outside, and plenty of seating inside. bathrooms are clean.

Not bad! My order has been messed up a couple times recently though. The place is always clean, which is great. The building itself is on the smaller size and I’ve found myself waiting 20+ minutes for a coffee on busy days.

Went in the other day and decided to use the restroom before I purchased a coffee as I don’t really want to take my drink in there. I asked for the door code and the barista said the restroom is for customers only. What am I exactly? I told him I was planning on buying a coffee when I came out and tried my best not to be miffed. So I ordered a drip coffee when I came out and the other barista tells me they are out of drip coffee. Didn’t offer to give an Americano or anything at all. I have seen this more and more with Starbucks – they are losing sight of what they are – a coffee shop! Seriously? No coffee at Starbucks? Go to Some Crust down the street. You’ll wait a bit but the coffee is great.

Slowest Starbucks I’ve ever been to. Easily takes twice as long as any other location. Not sure what the problem is: not enough staff?

Located in a cute part of town they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It was just ok as far as starbucks service goes. Maybe its because most of the sbux I’ve been to the baristas have a sense of urgency when taking your order and getting your order prepared. She was a bit slow paced and not something I associate with sbux. I’d say if you plan to sit back and enjoy your coffee this is just right for you. If you need to make a quick stop and be out the door — this place isn’t it.

I had a pleasant first experience here. I noticed the store was very clean when I first walked in and I was greeted by the employees. I just had a simple order but the cashier man was very nice to me, he took my order promptly — everyone in the store was extremely nice. I sat down for a few minutes ate my food had my drink and then left. I really liked my Starbucks experience and I plan on returning with my best friend soon.

Nice and tidy, the place is always clean and the staff is super friendly, you will enjoy your drink whether its simple or customized… the guys is ready for you! Maybe the place is somehow small, but will do the work, you can study there if you can read in public places… free WiFi and now updated with better speed… outside seating is available… I’m addicted to this place!

I used to come to this Starbucks all the time because it is on the way to the high school. But I graduated years ago so its been awhile since I had been there. They have definitely opened up some space by adding in booth seating rather than tables. It is still very small and narrow but it was definitely worse before. On this particular visit, we went in at about 8pm. There was only one person at the counter so we assumed it would be a pretty quick trip. NOPE. There were three baristas in the store but only one of them was cashering AND making drinks. It so happened to be an older woman who was not moving very swiftly. When we stood at the counter, two baristas passed us and did not say«We’ll be right with you» or anything of that nature. We just stood there. She was making a smoothie for the guy who was before us. I know that those are fairly new so I get that it may take a tad longer because it is not a regular thing they make yet. But her speed was a little comical. No sense of urgency or anything. Between drinks, which really infuriated and grossed me out, the older woman, who was clearly sick, coughed directly into both of her hands and kept working. I assumed she would wash them because there was soap and a sink right next to where she was standing. NOPE. She came to take our drink orders and then put her germ infested hand on TOP of the cup. As a known germaphob, I almost died! And to top all of the off, they did not have my green tea. Overall, this Starbucks is just ok. Nothing to write home about. Nice place to stop by when you need a drink after walking and exploring the farmers market.

A busy Starbucks. I agree with the other reviews that it felt like we had to wait pretty long for our order. Decent amount of seating if you count the tables outside, but almost all seats were taken when we went(on a Friday afternoon). I wouldn’t come back to this location unless I was really craving Starbucks. There is a Coffee Bean just a few blocks away.

The workers here are always nice and while the store is very narrow, most patrons are courteous of everyone cramming in to a small space. Drinks and food are always good, and they move pretty quick. My biggest suggestion is AVOIDTHISPLACE around after school hours; kids(yes, KIDS) from the local schools flock here after class and they’re always in large groups, loud, and very inconsiderate of the prominent adult/business population that’s around the village. But any other time of day is great!

Been coming here every time we visits the village. The workers are always nice to us, even when the place is packed, and that happens often; they still try their best. The place is kind of small. A few tables up front and some along the wall as it narrows down toward the back of the coffee shop. The area to wait for your drink is also tight, expect to get asked if you’re waiting for the restroom or your drink(happens to me every time haha). Overall, pretty cool place, friendly staff, and awesome drinks as always! Will be coming here again! P.S expect it to be really busy on Sunday’s during the farmers market.

This place is alright, I do not typically come to starbucks in Claremont. I am here right now with a friend doing homework. It was pretty slow when I walked in and I ordered a white chocolate mocha/venti sized. After a few minutes while I was waiting I ordered a water. The girl tried to give me the smallest cup and I politely asked for the largest container. I would have paid what $ 0.50 is it for a venti water? She proceeds to roll her eyes and give me a bigger cup. Like relax dude. I paid for a coffee already. As my friend arrives she orders a drink as well. The barista was really slow and did not call out the drinks and did not have them out on the front so as my friend kept checking she did not see hers until she asked for it. So it was warm. Eh not the best. I prefer other locations.

I believe that no two Starbucks are alike. Each Starbucks is different in a sense due to the layout, baristas, and such. This is my second time at this Starbucks location since I’ve been working around the Claremont area and I’ve had nothing short of a positive experience here so I’m not sure why this location has such poor reviews! THEDETAILS: Located right behind Wells Fargo. I couldn’t find it at first since I was walking there so I decided to call and ask… haha. I feel like this Starbucks is more narrow compared to others. There’s an outdoor patio you could sit at or you can try to find a table inside. I like the atmosphere of the location a lot, it’s very comforting. What I appreciate most about this Starbucks is the people that work here. Oh man, seriously the people here are by far the most friendliest people I’ve met thus far. I can tell when someone is genuine and the people here have such a sweet and kind soul. Their smiles make my day! I can really feel the love here. THEDRINKS: I’ve only ordered a couple drinks here and you can’t really mess up on iced tea. It’s refreshing and delicious for those hot days. My drinks were made relatively fast but then again it was tea so… –iced green tea unsweetened –iced peach green tea THEEND? As long as I’m working in Claremont, I’ll return!
