The pollo a la brasa is DELICIOUS. Order it as a combo with fries. Aji is so good but a second serving to the hot sauce is about $ 1 for a small cup?!? Price is kind of ridiculous for such a small serving. It’s a small restaurant with booths in a renovated shopping center. Would rate it 5 stars if the prices and services were better.

Come on guys! It’s Mother’s Day and you have only one server working and don’t open the extra space next door? There was a line out the door of customers waiting on the four tables available. Seriously, next time anticipate the holiday crowd and plan accordingly. We like the food here but couldn’t be more disappointed in the«business»

What more can I say. I LOVE Pollos Kikiryki! Their Lomo Saltado and roasted chicken is delicious! But, what I really come here for is the Aji sauce. It’s to die for. If it was made to drink, I would! The staff is always courteous and makes the food fresh. The restaurant is small and seating can be limited. But I’ve been coming for years and have no problem ordering the food to-go.

I’ve come here for years with my whole family. We often order chicken and fries to go and have always enjoyed it as a treat. My husband and I came in tonight for dinner before running some errands. We ordered a whole chicken with fries, chaufa de pollo and drinks which came to 36 dollars. We had half a chicken and fries left at the end of our meal which we decided to take to go. My husband asked for some sauce to take with us since you are usually given 2 containers of sauce when you order chicken to go and we had only been given a small portion of sauce to have with our meal in the restaurant. The owner said that any extra sauce is $ 1.09 and that there are different rules for chicken that is purchased to go and chicken eaten in the restaurant??? Both my husband found this to be petty and a poor way to treat long time customers. It pains me because their chicken and sauce is always a treat but I will no longer be frequenting or recommending this place.

Good selection of peruvian items. It is walking distance to my current workplace so that’s nice. Pretty friendly staff. The only thing is that the lomo saltado is too pricey and there is an odd room next door that’s never opened to the public. Weird!

First time here about 3 weeks ago, right before closing at 8 pm on a Friday night. The food was alright, my favorite were the desserts. I had the thing that looks like flan… Leche quemada… I forgot what they call it and my friend had the cookies, hoestly that was my favorite thing. It’s a bit over priced and the waitress was not very polite.

D E L I C I O U S!!! I ordered the Lomo saltado and I was like a fat kid sitting there not speaking to anyone because I wanted to concentrate on the flavor of this dish! If you are ever in the area, don’t forget to stop by!

Great place to eat, love there food. I ordered there whole chicken family combo comes with your choice of beans and rice. Rice and bean containers are small I would say it serves 2-adults lol. I would consider ordering bigger or more for family. I asked for some extra green sauce and they tried to charge me 1.20 which I thought it was cheesy. If I order a family style combo I would think they would just give you extra sauce. Otherwise good place The place is small has about 3 – 4 booths I would take that under consideration if you are dinning in. I just don’t understand why he charges so much for condiments specially if your getting a large meal. Owner seemed a bit rude on taking my order but the chicken was great, might check it out in a few weeks see if things have changed.

I never come out this far east, but I was meeting a friend. She suggested this spot which apparently was her old high school hangout from back in the day. It’s located in a very unassuming plaza in Claremont and is a total hole-in-the-wall. Think minimal décor and a bunch of booths. But the chicken is what I was there for and boy did it deliver! The flavors that the pollo asado were made with didn’t strike me as particularly Peruvian, but it was served with a side of that addicting aji sauce that we all know and love. Yum! The chicken was really juicy and I easily consumed a half chicken portion. Prices are inexpensive and the service was good. Solid spot in IE!

This is a quintessential hole-in-the-wall restaurant. The décor is like ½ star. They had two music sources playing over each other! «OMG, is this place a joke?» I thought. Well, the chicken and spicy sauce convinced me otherwise. You come for the chicken and the sauce, not the cheap plastic plates and barely-there plastic forks/knives. My advice: Take Out with extra sauce.

Good flavor poor service! The owner is cheap cheap cheap and does not realize there are many others places better and with good service! Won’t recommend to fam or friends! I called my order and when I got there I asked for extra forks and plates! The guy said the run out! I lean to pay and saw a stack 2 ½ high of plates! I asked the guy and her replied«owners policy» another time I got there and he gave me a traditional dish called anticuchos! I am peruvian I know the dish! It was burned and I wrote my name on the plate! The lady came twice to tell me the owner will not replace it and will put it on my bill! I told the lady here is the $ for what I paid and not for that plate. The owner refused to come and talk to me poor management and horrible customer service

Atentamente, Un cliente triste y agotado

One of my favorites Peruvian Restaurants in California. Chicken and their exclusive Spicy sauce is a must, Chaufa and Lomo Saltado are unique on this place. This is the ONLY Pollo a la Brasa(Rotisserie Chicken) that I miss when I’m visiting Peru, seriously. When you are dinning-in you can ask for the green sauce as many times as you like, that’s what I did every time and they are more than happy to refill it.

My boyfriend took me to this chicken place on night. We have been coming back since! It is a small restaurant with no a/c. The décor is a little on the old side. The employees are happy though. They make sure everything is right with your order and are attentive to what you need. The chicken is juicy and fresh! You can see the chicken cooking on the rotisserie. I normally order ¼ chicken with fries and salad. The salad is drenched in dressing. The fries are big with lots of potato in them. The chicken sizing is inconsistent. Some days it will be a larger portion and some days are smaller. The best thing about this place is the sauce. I’m not sure what it is, but it is amazing and def worth trying!

Food is good but they are really stingy with their hot sauce. Spent $ 40 to dine in and only got this small little cup. When I asked for more they told me it would be extra. Extra sauce extra charge. Went another time and I asked them to separate the fries from the plate so that the fries would not be soggy when I got home, they charged me for an extra to-go container.

I really like this place. I’ve been coming here since moving out to the area last summer and every time I come, the flavors and portions have been consistent. I always get the lomo saltado: beef marinated in soy sauce and stir fried with steak fries, slices of red onion, and tomato served with rice and a side of the delicious aji sauce. Such rich flavors and overall extremely delicious. I’ve had this dish at other Peruvian places but I keep coming back to Pollos. Yes, the dishes are a little pricey, but it’s a mom-and-pop shop so I don’t feel bad supporting a local business. I always save half my meal to eat for dinner or lunch the next day.

Screw these nickel and dimming people. Bread is extra and if you want an extra hot sauce — these people charge $ 1.09 per cup!!! RTheir food has gone downhill recently and the portions are weak! I’ll never come here again! Go to El Inka instead — they’re not cheapskates!

I have not reviewed in a while but after eating at this place, I had to share with you guys how I felt. I agree with Ashley from a previous review. The portions were really small. I ordered the pollo saltado and there was barely any chicken. The food itself was tasty especially with the sauce they give you on the side. I finished my food and finished 16 ounces of water and I was not full. The reason I am giving 3 stars is because the food was pretty good. It is just too small of a portion for its price. $ 14 including tip not what I want to spend to still be hungry.
