You will not find better care for your loved one in Southern California or Portland OR. The quality comes from the loving staff who treats each resident as if they were their grandparent. My father was a resident in 2013 and the first half of 2014. We moved to Portland OR in June of 2014. I really question my decision to move my father with me since his care was so much better at Oak Park Manor. In all the places that my father has been, I have never found a staff of caregivers that were so upbeat, encouraging, patient, and caring. I cannot name which staff members I am speaking of because literally the entire staff has this attitude. The staff seem to help each other out as well. You will find more luxurious facilities (which cost an arm and a leg more) but their staff is watching the clock waiting to go home. Oak Park is clean and is decorated to look like home. I miss you Oak Park.
