I made an appointment online and it turns out that online appointments charge you $ 1 to verify your card. I however did not authorize them to charge my card a $ 1 and now they can’t give me my money back until it’s processed through my bank. I’ve never even been to this place and now they are making me contact my bank to ask them to refund me my own money?! Why isn’t there any disclaimer about this? What if it over drafted my account? I simply do not like unauthorized charges in my account, so I cancelled my appointment and this business just lost $ 80. They called me back to reassure me that this won’t happen to anyone again, so let’s hope it doesn’t.

I came across Hush in my search for a local and new Esthetician. I read the raving reviews and decided to book an appointment with Nadia. She is the best! Very pleasant and walks you through your facial. I got an acne facial. She also gave me lots of tips of how to treat acne, and also informed about my skin. She also gives great massages. I had a pleasant facial, and left feeling great! The whole experience was soothing and relaxing. I recommend Nadia for your facial needs :-D

After having one of the roughest months I’ve had in a long time, my amazing boyfriend decided to surprise me with a gift certificate to a spa in my area (Hush) so that I could unwind a bit. After struggling online to get an appointment either after work, or on the weekend, I was able to schedule one for this Saturday! I received my reminder email yesterday reminding me to confirm my appointment for tomorrow and have been looking forward to it all week.
I recieved a call today informing me that my appointment would need to be rescheduled because the therapist has a «party» she has to attend tomorrow. Apparently she forgot to block out her schedule for it. Are you kidding me?
I don’t know about you, but my life is incredibly busy and when I am able to carve out some time for something like this, I have to move things around to do so. I don’t appreciate that you would confirm an appointment with me two days before, just to reschedule it hours before the appointment. If the therapist didn’t block out those times as unavailable, it’s good business practice to honor the appointments you set and confirm with your clients.
When trying to reschedule the appointment, the soonest I can get in for the massage is April 7^th with this same therapist or April 11^th with their other therapist…
I’ve requested a refund to my boyfriend’s card for the money he wasted on Hush while trying to help me out and I think it’s pretty obvious that I will not be trying to book with your company again.

I booked an appointment for an eyebrow wax. Since this was my very first time I had no idea what to expect. Nichole took the time to talk to me throughly about how the process went and she was fast and very gentle. I will definitely be back!

My first Brizillan wax, it hurt like no one’s business but my experience was great! Nicole is very caring and takes care of her patients very well!

I just got one of the best facials of my life! I’ve been to some of the fanciest spas in LA but this treatment was just as good or better! Nadia gave me my facial today and she was so sweet and welcoming. She not only did some great face treatments but gave one of the best shoulder and arm massages I’ve ever had. So wonderful!

Had a brow tint with Marlene today and she is the nicest person! She definitely won me over and I’ll for sure be back for more services

After reading the good reviews on Unilocal,I went in today to get an Almost Brazilian wax with Marlene. She was very friendly and easy going and made me feel at ease right away. The wax itself was the most pain FREE and quick wax that I have ever had. I don’t know if it’s her technique or what, but I couldn’t have been more pleased. Go see Marlene!!! You won’t be disappointed!

I had the pleasure of getting a facial with Marlene on Saturday, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Hands-​down the best facial I’ve ever had, and my face is still glowing.
Reasons Marlene and HUSH rock:
ENVIRONMENT/​CUSTOMER SERVICE: The salon is located in a quiet shopping center, and when you enter the salon you are warmly greeted. I sipped on a glass of their grapefruit/​lemon water that really just set the tone for what was to come. When I entered Marlene’s room it was serene and beautiful.
THE FACIAL: I slipped under the covers of the beauty bed, and the steam treatment started on my face, and my skin started to feel the change. Marlene has quite the touch of relaxation and the whole experience was just blissful.
You won’t regret this experience, and you’ll definitely return for more!

Nichole has been my waxer for over four years now and I love that she recently joined the Hush team. She’s fast and virtually painless. I recently started microdermabrasian sessions with her and am already pleased with the results after two times.
The other women that work there are friendly and have already made me feel like I have been going there forever.
I have tried their Rhonda Allison products for skin brightening and sun protection. It is non-​irritating and easy to use. I plan to start using their anti-​aging products as well.
I highly recommend Hush and find it worth the drive from the Pasadena area to Claremont.

Just wanted to give a quick update — I am still patronizing this business and wanted to reaffirm my prior review of about a year ago. I continue to get facials, waxing and brow tint at hush. I get so many compliments on my brow design! Marlene is the only person who goes near my brows and upper lip!!! I don’t know what it is about her technique — probably her many years of expertise — but something about her wax just feels better than any other place I’ve had waxing over the years. I’m never red or swollen after a waxing by Marlene. What’s really nice is that you can book online for your appointment so when I remember that I need waxing at 11:00 at night, I can go online and make an appointment!

Hush is clean, cute, and easy to find. I had a voucher for the raindrop therapy session. I can’t say I enjoyed it. It’s basically A LOT of aromatherapy oils being poured on your back. I’m not sure what this is supposed to accomplish. I guess I totally missed the point. There’s a very light but pretty much pointless massage included. I think the regular price is 95 dollars. Really expensive for a service that doesn’t provide much benefit (in my opinion). This is the only service I’ve had here so that what the review is based on. Should I go back, I will update.

After moving to Claremont, I needed to find a new spot to get my «downstairs» waxed.
I called and set up an appointment for a maintenance brazilian and in I went. Everyone who worked here was SUPER nice and friendly, made me feel very comfortable and right at home.
However, I am a bit disappointed with the results. I still had hairs left, and two days later PLENTY of stubble was apparent. I’m pretty bummed, I don’t know if it’s just because we were wrapped up in conversation or what.
And not to mention this place is more pricey for maintenance than where I was going in San Dimas. ($ 40 compared to $ 25).
I wish my lady parts looked as good as the people were nice, maybe then I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.
For now, I think I’ll just pay the extra money in gas and drive to my waxer in San Dimas, where I know I will be hair free for at least two weeks.
Two thumbs up though on costumer service and cleanliness!!! :]

After reading the Unilocal reviews on their eyebrow waxing, I decided to make an appointment with Marlene. I must say, I love my new eyebrows! Mind you — prior to hush., I had never gotten a brow wax because I was afraid that the esthetician would make them too thin or create an unnatural arch. Marlene is great! She understands the importance of having non-​thin, natural-​looking brows and made sure that I was happy with mine. Marlene was very amenable and focused on giving me the eyebrows I wanted. I am definitely coming back for routine maintenance.
Five stars for service and ambiance, but I’m subtracting a half-​star (too bad Unilocal doesn’t let you do this) because it’s a little more pricey than other salons. Still, I plan to go to hush. for my other waxing needs. Service is impeccable, and they sell Rhonda Allison skin care products, which I just love!
