Sadly I can’t remember the name of the guy who owns this shop and practices acupuncture. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. This is the only place I’ve had acupuncture so you can take this review with a grain of salt, but I had a very good experience with my various times coming here. This place takes walk-ins but you may have to wait a little longer. They also take appointments scheduled over the phone or in person. My first appointment consisted of an assessment to see what the treatment would require. This took about half an hour. Then I had my session with acupuncture and then a short massage(over a towel). He worked quickly and with some pleasant small talk, asking me where I most had tension and placing the needles around that spot and at other pressure points. Then he left and I stayed still for about half an hour while the needles worked their magic. After taking out all the needles, he offers an optional massage to further help with blood flow. Don’t know if I would get that again since it was very light and didn’t do much. The appointments overall took about 1 ½ hours, so take a long lunch or go after work(though I can’t remember if they’re open later). After about six appointments once a week, I had noticeable relief from neck and shoulder tension. This is a very pleasant place to visit and especially convenient for Claremont people.

Waist of time. I sat in the waiting room for twenty minutes before asking to wait five more. I told them I had other appointments and that I had to leave. It was a huge hassle to get my paper work back with my social on it as well as my drivers license number on it. They were rude and unhelpful.
