Claremont High School

I’m just posting this review to highlight the absurdity of a public high school having a Unilocal page and public ratings.

This school is trash, dont send your kids here. Every day i wake up and want to die because of this place. How poorly this review is written should be enough to tell that the education is shit. It may be a highly regarded school, but whoever said it was good has no idea what theyre talking about. The classrooms have no windows, very depressing work environment. The teachers dont really give a fuck about you. The center of one of my orange chickens was completely raw the other day and they dont provide proper eating utensils. How hard can it be to get plastic spoons and forks instead of just sporks? This is not the only high school i have attended but it is the worst.

I had my ups and downs here but definitely like college more. Don’t miss high school now. Don’t miss having 5 – 6 classes Monday-​Friday. Don’t miss the busy work. Don’t miss people being in others business. Don’t miss the drama. Don’t miss teachers not being able to let out of class early or having to stay in class when everyone is finishing a test. I honestly don’t know how I did it back then. I don’t talk to too many people from high school and I knew I probably wouldn’t. I did enjoy doing theatre and choir in high school but I just had so many insecurities and depression back then. I have memories from homecoming dances, gradnight, Disneyland, graduation, and rallies. It’ll be interesting to go to a high reunion in the future to see where everyone is at. *sighs

The office staff needs a crash course in dealing with the public, they need to teach their students about bullying, teams need to learn good sportmanship, the dance team, cheer team and wolf gang hip hop team need to embrace equality and diversity. I am so tired of hearing young african american girls who attend the school say that they didnt make the team because the coach says their too ethnic. The principal should watch his language last time i was there on the campus i was in a group where he referred to the african american students as «you people» rather it being knowingly or unknowningly he should be mindful of his words, they should also consider that not every student can afford certain things they offer because they arent as privledged as others and they can also actually enforce rules on hate crimes such as homophobia and racism rather than looking the other way.

School is nice. Baseball team desperately needs help. They just got spanked. What’s funny is for a school like this you have to see the sign they put in their restroom? Come on people call a plumber! I thought the standard was much higher.

Congrats class of 2013!

It was okay… the proctors are super picky and judgmental and the office people were, for the most part, unhelpful and looked super annoyed at having to talk to you… I’m sure there are worst high schools, but CHS isn’t as amazing as Claremont wants to make it look.
