The exam was fine, the selection of lenses is okay. The customer service is terrible.

HORRIBLE service! I’ve been going to the Americas best in Tigard for years and it has wonderful service but the SE location has been the worst service ever. When I was 5 minutes late they cancelled my appointment and made me reschedule. When I did get in it took OVER AN HOUR! and the people were so rude. The doctor was nice but they have a policy that you have to come back for a follow up (ANOTHER HOUR WASTE OF YOUR TIME). Seriously go to another location… the service and quick time will be worth it

Your bright neon blue sign hurts my eyes so badly, that I will have no choice but to come in and buy glasses after it demolishes my ability to see.

Omg, after weeks of trying to find a replacement pair I liked as much as my current (bent) frames, I found my exact frames in the closeout backstock the lady so kindly brought out for me. I am so grateful, these frames are the best I’ve had in a long time!

Original order placed 6÷3÷15. Received call to get glasses 6÷8÷10. Both pairs seemed great, but when I got home, they seemed foggy and too bright. The regular glasses were unusable with a computer screen (glare). Went back on 6÷10÷15 and they told me I could still get anti-​glare coating… For more money. Got call 6÷22÷15 to come get coated glasses.
So final cost for one prescription pair with glare coating: $ 92.47. Final cost for polarized sunglasses with glare coating: $ 233.98.
Grand total for two: $ 326.45
Get the anti-​glare coating. It’s a must. Two store staff said they HAVE to get it on their own glasses… Told me AFTER I received my goods.
For sunglasses, find frames you love somewhere else on sale and find a store that can replace the lenses with your prescription. AB’s sunglass frames are cheap crap from China (it’s even printed on the frames) and then they want to charge you $ 65 (frame only) for something that only cost them $ 1 to mass produce.
I gave 3 stars for the friendly staff and getting glasses I can live with.

I gave four stars because my sister and I went in for the two pairs of glasses for $ 70 dollars we left spending over 200 dollars the good thing was that Jessica R. was really helpful and cheerful

I have never had so much fun getting glasses before! The minute I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile. Everyone who worked there was super friendly and had beautiful smiles. The person who helped me pick out and fit my glasses was the funniest and most fun person ever. I had a blast and I will definitely go back.

I returned to Americas Best today. Jennifer knew I was not satisfied with my first visit and asked if I would come back to give them a chance to make things right. She took very good care of me and am pleased to say I have glasses on the way.
Thank you for addressing your customers concerns and doing your part to make your customers happy. Much appreciated.
I would now recommend this store as they have shown the willingness to work with me.

The worst, most terrible customer service. Ever. Spend the extra couple bucks somewhere else.
Not sure how the Better business bureau keeps them in business.
