The VFW1944 is a private club for veterans. They serve food on location. They are not consistent with how they serve food. They serve beer wine and alcohol but their prices are not any better than your local restaurant. If you’re looking for this type of club I would probably look elsewhere.

Cheap drinks, FREE Comedy on Thursdays and handsome bartenders that don’t call. If you’re reading this, you lost a star for not calling LOL(jk…ahem maybe…) Actually, unlike the prior reviewer, this place was really chill the night I went. Parking was easy; it’s not overly crowded. Pretty hidden actually so much that I would’ve never found it had my friend not perform here and invited me. The drinks were really cheap(Al’s Bar prices) and the crowd were nice enough… definitely good place to relax and throw a few back for a bargain. Always a plus that they took credit cards. Free entertainment is always nice. If you’re into the dive bar no scene type of scene, check it out and let me know what you think :)

There were no reviews for this venue yet, but there were 300+ people at the soul event I went to the other night. Vet halls are ideal for local events — music club nights, band shows, even weddings! Large size hall with a bar area, plenty of long tables and chairs, a stage, disco ball, and wood floors. For the music event, they had a taco cart, beer on tap by the pitcher, chrome accessories for engraving(huh?), and DJs spinning oldies on vinyl records. Parking was a hassle, even early at 7pm. There was a private lot, but no painted lines, so there was a lot of double parking going on, so of course we get boxed in. Good thing the host made an announcement and they moved their car.
