Tony’s has two Unilocal pages, the other one has far more accurate reviews. Customers beware.

Nice folks. Family-run business. One of the guys helped me load my truck with a 1⁄3 cord of wood; took half the time it would have taken me alone. He refused to accept a tip. The wood I get there is consistently good and well seasoned.

Update: Having my first fire of the year in my fireplace with the eucalyptus I got from Tony’s in August… AWESOMEAWESOME… it’s a little moist from the rain this morning, but it burns so nice, no smoke whatsoever, and the fragrance of the wood is wonderful. It burns nice and slow with very little ash just as you said. I’m a customer for life! thanks you guys!!! Just want to say, thank you for the awesome customer service and firewood that you delivered to me this morning. I forgot to ask your delivery guy his name, but I would like to thank him, to for showing me how to stack firewood, and his excellent customer service! I’ve only been a customer for about a year, buying a carload at a time; got my first cord of wood today… again…awesome! You guys are great and I won’t go anywhere else! See you next year for another cord for the winter! thank you!!! Michelle

I’ve been buying Firewood from Tony’s for almost 10 years. I know they are a family business and the family lives locally so I am happy to support them. The family is great. The wood is great. Prices are competitive. Service is always convenient. I have wood delivered and it’s always been easy. I should be writing a 5-star review, but I have one big complaint. I buy wood a cord at a time and have it dropped in my driveway, then I stack it myself. I have a wood rack on the side of my house that holds just slightly less than one cord. A cord is 128 cu ft. My rack is approx 120 cu ft. After I stack a cord of wood, my rack should be full. The last two loads I’ve gotten, a cord of wood only filled my rack about 70%. Up until two years ago this wasn’t a problem. The last two years all my loads have been the same. Before my most recent order(last week), I even commented about it to one of the brothers, who assured me they were on the up and up. The result was the same though and I got shorted. Now I really want to believe that they are not doing it intentionally. I know that the racks they use to store and measure wood on their site are legitimate. However, I do think that they stack wood very sloppily on their site. Hopefully that’s just because their employees are lazy, and it’s not because they are trying to short people. It’s real easy though to lose a bunch of volume in a cord of wood if you’re haphazardly throwing logs on top of each other. And that’s what I think they’re doing. The end result is that a customer like me, who knows the difference, knows that he is getting shafted. I’m writing this review in the hopes they see it and think about what they’re doing, because clearly it did no good for me to mention it to them when I went in there.

I have been going to Tony’s for the past few years to get firewood for the annual boys trip. I am far from being an expert on firewood, but the fire wood I get here always burns well and they never try to sell me the scraps that they can’t give away to anyone else. The couple who are running the business are always friendly and willing to give an honest opinion of how much you’ll need for your camping trip. I don’t know how their prices compare to other firewood places. After getting garbage firewood from other businesses in the area, I stopped looking after I found how well the firewood from Tony’s burned in my campfires and cabin stoves.
