All I can say is. «Wow»!!! I am restoring a vintage trailer and needed paint for the interior. I knew which paint color I wanted so I called the Folsom store to see if they have it in stock and ask about a promotion I saw online. My house is in-between the Folsom store and the one on Greenback in Citrus Heights. The lady who answered the phone at the Folsom location was OK but didn’t seem very willing to help. I decided to go to the Greenback store after she told me that they just mix the color so yes they’ll have it. Since I was less than impressed with her I gave the other store a shot… And I’m so glad I did. I was promptly greeted by Sergio who asked me if I wanted help within seconds entering the store. I said«Yes, I need this color» which he had to go to the back to get the color card. He came out asking me questions about my project(what I was painting, what material I was painting, what I was matching it with, etc.). He genuinely cared about me and my needs! I was concerned with the amount of blue in the gray that I chose as I have had a bad experience in the past when my «gray» turned out to be baby blue on my walls. He showed me other grays with blue undertones and really solidified my choice. He then asked me for some specs on my project which he used to calculate how much I should buy. He has mastered the art of «needs based selling» and he was directing me in the way I wanted to go. After all, he is the expert. The whole time I was there he was asking me questions about myself and sharing a bit about himself. I really did not feel like I was just another customer at just another chain paint store. To top it off what he was sharing with me was about how great his company is in training, promoting, and growing employees. He said his management team is amazing and supports him and his team. I mean, who doesn’t want to patronize a company when their employee is speaking so highly of them? I will be back and I will be referring all of my friends and family to Sergio and his team. To top it off he carried my paint to my car and we ended the experience with a handshake… Can it get more professional than that? Kudos to Sergio and to Sherwin Williams!!!

We just bought a house and only had a leftover paint lid with some numbers on it. I needed more of that color so I took in the lid, they matched it and they mixed up a few gallons of paint really quickly. Great customer service, clean store and will be going back soon for more projects!
