NY City Pizza

I realize people’s taste very. But come on people! The only reason I tried this pizza was because of the so-​called good reviews on Unilocal.Your better of buying Digiorno. What in the world are these people comparing this pizza too, cardboard topped with canned pizza sauce? What a waste of my hard earned money. How do these people stay in business?! I guess we’ll never know but I’m not coming back to find out.

I picked up a simple hot large with cheese only. EW!!! It tasted terrible, the sauce barely had any taste, it was too sweet and dough was like eating cardboard. My dog wouldn’t even touch it and she eats everything. The NY City Pizza it = NOT YOUR CITY PIZZA. Never again.

Nice family run business, I’ve been going here for several years and they never disappoint! Always fresh and great prices. Great deal on the XL pizza and the King Kong. My personal favorite: veggie add chicken jalapeños and extra cheese!

We’ve had this lots of times. It’s good quality for the price. They always have good coupons and the people that own it are extremely nice.

It was just alright… Kinda bummed, I ordered the King Kong meat lovers pizza, to start off I was surprised that they charged more for garlic white sauce instead of the standard red marinara sauce… I was even more bummed when I got it and the first bites I took was dry like it had no sauce. Certain bites I could taste the sauce, they just didn’t put enough on or evenly, the sausage is at par with a Tony’s frozen pizza. Just tastes cheap. Bottom line for the $ 35 I spent on a 24″ pizza I could have got 2 – 3 xl pizzas from another place… I might try it again to see if it was just this pizza but I don’t know…

I have come here several times and always get great pizza, and very affordable. The staff are friendly and helpful.

12:30pm Friday: Ordered an Extra large, half-​pepperoni, half pineapple and canadian-​bacon pizza on garlic sauce over the phone. Told the price would be $ 18.25. Came to pick up the pizza and charged another $ 2.25 for the soda. After I paid I recognized a big sign that stated «extra large pizza 2-​topping with soda for $ 10.99» I asked the clerk if I could receive the advertised price since my pizza is exactly that. He talked to another guy in a foreign language and told me that this special is only for those that come to the store and order the pizza, and that a phone order doesn’t apply. I told him that that is not what the advertisement states and that your being dishonest. I worked at numerous pizza places I know exactly what a pick-​up order means. In all, I never mind paying the original price, but at least don’t advertise that I could get the same deal for a lot cheaper and then tell me I can’t. It’s funny and confusing. Now for the pizza, it wasn’t that great, it didn’t have enough sauce or cheese. And the dipping ranch taste exactly like hidden valley ranch. It’s pretty clear this place is cutting corners. This is the last time I get pizza here. For anyone reading this, I would recommend going down the street to Original Pizza House, at least you’ll pay the advertised price and get a free soda at pick-​up.

Food is overpriced for the quality you get. Terrible customer service. No 2-​liter upon pick-​up. Not coming back. Spare your taste buds go somewhere else.

Well this was BOMB! Great prices an super fast delivery! It was really close to «NY» pizza.(my wife grew up on NY pizza as a kid an we can’t find it no where in Sac, this she approves!) great thin crust. cooked ALL THE WAY an with just the right crunch. Amazing sauce. not like spaghetti sauce more like a marinara. Great flavor! Lets jus say… for UNDER $ 22 with delivery we had the Large Hawaiian Delight (Specialty pizza) and received a FREE med. Cheese (with purchase of ANY speciality pizza) an tip! BOMB​.COM for sure!!! Lol

Worst pizza I have ever ate. Don’t eat here, sauce is just watery paste. I was pissed spend money on garbage.

Terrible service, nothing special pizza. Ordered white sauce, paid extra, ordered extra cheese and paid extra, got neither. When I called to complain guy wouldn’t pass on my comments cause he could get fired for saying pizza was wrong I asked to speak to the owner myself so I could tell him. Owner spent 5 minutes holding the phone and talking to someone about it in another language besides English so I couldn’t understand, then said that is just how they do things. No resolution, lost our business and my neighbors business forever.

I thought their pizza tasted amazing! Also their prices were just right, and not over priced for the pizza your getting. They offer great sizes for parties as well!

Best pizza period! The prices are unbeatable. They are always super friendly and super quick. The only pizza place I will go to.

We came and got a pick up order of 2 large pizzas and they were both really good. I liked the crust and the amount of toppings were a good ratio. I think it’s a good option for pizza that isn’t a chain.

I absolutely love this place! They make the pizza exactly how I ask them to every single time! Not to mention they’re really nice and actually remember my name (and I don’t go there more than once a month).

Website and coupons say open 7 days a week til 11. I call to make an order at about 10 and after I tell them what I want and make the order they tell me they are closed as if what I was ordering wasn’t worth their time. Ive had the pizza before and it was okay decent but I wouldn’t buy anything other than the 5 $ medium.

The family that owns this place is so friendly. They remember my boyfriend and I every time we come in. I don’t eat meat so I’m a stickler for fresh, crisp veggies and their pizza next disappoints. Highly Recommend.

ZERO STARS — I bought a deal for NY City Pizza on AmazonLocal (similar to Groupon). One day later, when I called to place an order, the guy said, «Do you have an Amazon coupon? ‘Cause we’re not accepting those anymore. You need to contact them about a refund.» Too bad, because I was hoping this place had genuine NY-​style pies… but I can’t believe they’d put a deal out there and then cancel it the next day. I simply won’t give my money to a business that doesn’t honor their commitments.
