I was looking to try yet another Chinese restaurant in the area and thought I’d give Lotus a shot. When I arrived, it seemed the entire family was ready to pounce on me since I was the only patron. There was no a/c, only a fan even though it is July and they were saving power by keeping most of the lights off(they turned one on after I sat for a while). I was very happy to see that they had a combo dish but the options were slim and substitutions cost an extra $ 1.50. I decided to save the $ and go with the sweet and sout pork combo. The pork was not the best quality, the rice was fair at best and as a previous poster said, the chow mein was terrible(almost no meat and very mushy and tasteless. Even though I was starving when I got there I didn’t finish my plate. I was also displeased that they charged me for hot tea whereas most Chinese places throw that in for free. Service was good as they kept my water filled but I won’t be back. My quest for the ideal Chinese food place continues.

My bf got take out the other night & wanted to try something new. I haven’t had really bad Chinese food in a long time, until I ate from here. He thought it was ok, I could hardly eat it. Greasy, mushy chow mein, chewy potstickers(the meat was pink), bland rice, imitation crab meat in the fried wontons, and the chicken dish he got tasted horrible. The potstickers & chicken remain in the fridge & will be thrown out after this review.

OMG!!! Soooo good! The fried rice, yum, the general chicken, yummy, and the pot stickers, yummiest! Good prices too, you get a lot for the money. And the delivery is really fast. I ordered and they said 30 minutes, it was only 17 and they were at my door. Way better than the place that was there before they took over.
