Larry’s Laundry Room

I am very happy to recommend Larry’s Laundry Room. I am fortunate to have a washer and dryer in my home. But I needed to wash some comforters and they did not fit into my machine. I went to Larry’s as it is right up the street from me. But I had a problem with one of the washers. (It can happen anywhere.) The reason I am writing this review is because of the way Rita, the owner, handled it. She went above and beyond the call of duty to make up for my inconvenience. Good customer service is very rare these days. And I have never written an on-​line review before. BRAVO for Rita and Larry’s Laundry Room! Kyle K.

Well, I want to say my experiences here have been quite «pleasant»! With the
exception of the «homeless» sleeping there. But Rita, the NEW owner has put a
stop to this. And the old washers/​dryers are being replaced, with new ones. As
for the homeless ISSUE, the sheriffs are handling that!

Plenty of washers and dryers washers are cheap!!! Only $ 1.50 went quick I got 6 loads of laundry washed and dried within and hour and a half!

Very dirty. Machines are old and floors are cracked. I realize this is a public laundromat, but it leaves alot to be desired. Go to a friends house to do your clothes. Really.

I realized this week that I have been coming to Larry’s for about 6 months and had yet to do a review… which was unfortunate for them that I had forgotten. Before tonight, I would have given them 5 stars… but like I said, that was before…
Granted I normally come in on a weeknight when I get out of class early, so it’s much quieter and is generally a much more pleasant experience, so I should expect a Saturday night to be a little busier, noisier, etc. But this Saturday at Larry’s was just downright gross. First of all, it smelled REALLY BAD. Like someone stepped in dog crap, smoked a cigarette (speaking of which, people were sitting right outside the entrance smoking… just what I want my clean clothes to smell like — AN ASHTRAY!), and wore clothes that had been left sitting in a washer overnight (think a washrag that’s been sitting in your shower for too long). Then, there’s trash everywhere; candy wrappers on the folding tables, newspapers & used fabric softeners on the floor… Lastly, I literally had to stake my claim on my rolling laundry cart because people were snatching them up like they’re going out of style, it was a little ridiculous.
Needless to say, I won’t stop coming to Larry’s because usually I really do like it here. So I’ll chock it up to poor decision making and take it as a lesson learned… from now on, I’ll be sure to make time during the week to do laundry.
