Danesho is a model of what sales personnel should be like. We had a price discrepancy on a close out item and Danesho made sure we were charged appropriately with a patient, repectful, understanding manner! Make sure you read your coupons or offers carefully as the cashier would not honor the discount and Danesho read the coupon carefully and realized that the offer was valid. He pointed out the discrepancy in a respectful manner to the cashier and stood by her while she made the correction!

I have been in here many times and have not always found what I was looking for but have always been greeted cheerfully and welcomed to the store. Store employees seem to have a good knowledge of their merchandise and what they have in stock. Quality of merchandise is good and reasonably priced. Many sale items are exceptional value. Have never had a problem at this store. Very good shoe selection for an old guy like me. Don’t have to look at all the colors and styles of the day to find a functional, comfortable shoe.

I am really sold on this place. Nearly every pair of tennis shoes I have, every gun and most exercise clothes comes from these guys.

Terrible customer service! Went there about 10 days ago to buy something that was in that day’s ad. They didn’t have any in stock but gave me a rain check & said the Roseville store had my item & they would send it to this, my local, store.
Didn’t hear form them so went into the store to check on my item. No item, none at any other stores, no idea why it didn’t get to this store, no help on locating the item for me, not willing to sell a substitute item. Basically no help at all.
Their rainchecks are useless. In previous raincheck situations, I’ve never gotten a call from the store to let me know the item was available. They just don’t seem to care.
It frustrates me that the item I wanted was one of only two the store had when the ad came out. I was told they sold that morning before I got there. Isn’t it a good idea to have ample supplies to fulfill ad sales? Reminds me of the old bait & switch scam.

Something you should know about this people.
After some 15 years i finally decided to purchase a firearm from this store (Big 5 in general).I end up dealing with three people from filling up the application to pick up time. The service is below a 3d grade country !!! The looks and the laughters from the store manager and the firearm department supervisor is below minimum. They treat people like «P A Shit» .
Don’t buy a thing from there if you’re proud of your heritage, yourself and want to be treated like a decent customer .
I’m sticking with my local gun dealers, end of the story.
As a business owner i know how to provide a great customer service so they come back for more service.
This store (big 5 on CH) is like a goon town !!
I have more respect for my pet than those low life big mouth sales people whom they’re on some power trip being happy to be called «Manager»

Bought a firearm on Black Friday, they were professional, they have a lot of good stuff for a smaller sporting goods store.

I was not in there for very long… I was with a friend that was returning something. The cashier was nice, and things went smoothly.
I have been there a few times before… it’s always been fine.

I wanted to return a few items that I had purchased as Christmas Gifts. I didn’t have the tags to go with the products, I though I would not get the refund. However I happened was the total opposite.
There was no line to return the items, and customer service was swift to give a refund and ensured I had a pleasant shopping experience.
I would do business at this location again, as I will consider this location first for my sporting good needs.
I highly recommend this location.

Wow… went in there the other night to get my boys ready for baseball. Could not find one of the items I was looking for, could not find help finding it. Gave up and went to check out and the girl said nothing to me until she had no choice but to tell me the total. That was all she said, just the total and not a word after. I noticed a sign saying they are hiring a new manager. Good idea!

Friendly and efficient service. Prices were resonable for the item we purchased.
