ADX Refinishing

I can’t express how awesome Art is and the refinishing work he does. Absolutely amazing! My husband and I were looking for a economical solution to update our kitchen and master bath. Art was super friendly from the first time we met to discuss our project and that didn’t change one bit throughout the entirety of the project. We had our master bath shower and garden tub refinished as well as our ceramic tile kitchen counter tops and sink. Boy what a change! They look brand new now. I highly recommend Art and ADX Refinishing. You won’t regret it.

ADX Refinishing did work for us in May 2013. Wanted to take some time to leave them a GREAT review!
Our home was extremely dated with some «over the top» décor by the original owners. While materials were solid, we chose the refinishing route versus replacement.
Art and ADX were extremely professional, provided quality workmanship, and delivered exactly what was discussed and promised. The whole process was 2 – 3 days, and we were VERY PLEASED with the end results.
We sold that home in July 2014, and have since purchased and begun renovation on an even older house. I would not hesitate to hire ADX for future jobs.

We are so happy and so impressed with the work Art did for us! We originally thought we would have to replace our fiberglass bathtub and shower pan but after a little research and talking with Art he assured us he would make both look brand new AND even took off and repaired a spot in our tub that originally had handicap handles and you can’t even tell anything was ever there. Art was very professional and easy to work with and very respectful while working in our home and would highly recommend him!

Art came to our home to refinish a claw-​foot tube that had peeling finish on the bottom of it. He was very friendly and professional.
He meticulously masked off the whole bathroom, set up ventilation to exhaust fumes out, and started working. As he got into it, he realized that behind the drain hardware, the tub was pretty badly rusted. He explained that while it is possible to put a product on it to build up and cover the rusted area (similar to Bond-​O), it would continue to rust inside, making it look terrible a few years down the road. He would have been able to refinish the tub and have it look nice long enough to get paid, and possibly long enough for it to look good for a couple years, but instead he explained that he would rather not do the work only to leave us with a shoddy tub that won’t last.
He could have easily done the job and gotten paid, but knowing we would be unhappy with the job down the road, he opted to not.
I really appreciated his candor and his desire to not have us spend money on something that would not last us. I really feel that he was looking out for our best interest by declining to proceed with finishing the tub. He charged nothing.
He was exceptionally friendly and professional and made my wife very comfortable with a stranger in the house, even before I was home.
I can’t really give 5 stars only because I am unable to see the quality of his work, but will gladly give 4 because I feel that he was so professional and considerate of the customer.
When I get a different tub, if it needs refinishing, I will certainly be calling Art at ADX.
